Sadly I can't say the same for it, but I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😁

It's a pleasant enough listen, I quite enjoyed it. Though I think the predominance of slower tracks is going to make for a boring tour later this year.

If she realises it's a weak album (which I feel it is, as much as I love her), she probably won't do much from it on the tour. She only did 5 songs from Kiss Me Once on that tour

A blistering return to form. She had lost me for years - too many phoned in, banal, personality-less albums. Her best album since the sublime Body Language.

I gave it a few listens whilst on holiday but it didnt grab me. Thankfully I had the Light Years album which I think is her best.

I'm giving this tour a miss. It's the first one since Homecoming that I haven't been to (excluding the one off gigs). I'm sure I'll buy the DVD though as there's usually some great new arrangements of the older stuff

Yes I am giving the tour a miss too. Been to the last few but not so keen on this new material.

I fell for Kylie a little later than I would've liked to be honest. I watched the Homecoming dvd religiously and first saw her on the X2008 tour. Since that I went to the Les Folies tour for Aphrodite, an anti-tour date in Manchester (my favourite) and the last RAH Christmas show. Her last album felt lacking for my tastes, and this new one is better, but still not enough to convince me to buy tickets. If she were to do a revival of Showgirl though, I'd be there in a heartbeat!

I just got it today because the singles didn’t excite me enough to buy it the week it came out.
Unfortunately the album is too much of the same. I could maybe have it on in the background but I wouldn’t go to it to ‘listen’ to it, if you know what I mean.

She won't be doing "Showgirl" again - she said as much in the recent Radio 2 documentary. For which I'm glad - she's done enough retreading in her career for my liking already.

I agree with you, however her mass market want to hear her hits unfortunately, so most of her tours now will consist of six album tracks (roughly) and the rest of the setlist will be chart toppers... and Wow. Most of the crowd who scramble for tickets don’t do it because they actually want to hear the album played live. If her next tour was promoting an album of nursery rhymes it would sell, because its her back catalogue that sells tickets.

Personally I am not going to get tickets to see her live until I know the setlist. I've seen most of her tours. And I am fed up with hearing the same hits (some of which aren't even her biggest hits) regurgitated every few years. If it truly is a Golden Tour - I'm there.

^ Trust and believe, I'm in agreement with you. The best setlist I saw was the anti-tour. All for the fans, none for the mainstream.

Guys, I'm at the intermission of the opening night of the tour, it's amazing! Such a fantastic show! I won't spoil as I know some don't like spoilers, but it's amazing!

It was our turn for Kylie last night - it's a fun show but not up there with her absolute best. She was on great form, of course, and carried the whole thing effortlessly. Wasn't quite sure what she was going for - big dance troupe that weren't really given a chance to show what they can do and the structure/setlist didn't really go anywhere. But then, she can shimmy away through Spinning Around and everyone leaves happy Not sure about the golden circle taking up half the standing area in the O2 - does feel like a bit if a liberty on her part.
