I think it was Titanic at Southwark that ran out of programmes. The box office staff were really nice and took my e mail address promising to e mail me a digital copy but unfortunately they never did.

I know one of the cast left on Thursday and was on holiday the final performance (may have been pre-booked I assume). I am still trying to work out who was playing Big Jule - there was no understudy announced but from the rear circle it certainly looked like the understudy Yes the holiday for that cast member was pre-booked as she was originally suppose to leave this coming Sunday. I believe the role of Big Jule was played by Momar

It seems a bit odd that Oliver Tompsett & Siobhan Harrison are doing the run in Tel Aviv when they finished the West End production a week early. I had assumed they were leaving early because they were starting work on other shows but clearly not. As they are staying with Guys & Dolls then why not extend to do the last week in the West End?

Maybe they were asked to do this at very short notice, and as far as they were aware when they left they show they had finished.

I seem to remember Siubhan saying she was doing a Shakespeare play next? I think she tweeted that about two or three weeks ago.

Surely Siubhan is a bit, well, bored of playing this role? I mean, she is great but it isn't exactly the most exciting role in the world is it.

That said, Katie Rowley Jones has stuck around Wicked for 7 years. Even I'm bored of her in that one.

At the moment I think Siubhan lacks the name recognition to get the lead roles in West End musicals, she does OK in fringe plays, but I really wouldn't be surprised if she has stuck with it for so long as it is an income as well as an opportunity to get a role to hopefully get remembered for.

Maybe it did, I may be going insane, I thought it closed today. Ah no, you are correct, it did close last weekend. Kinda sad that there was no buzz on here about the final performance, that is probably why I got confused. Shows it kinda had met its end at the right time.

Perhaps the ushers and the box office staff have been there rehearsing all week to stave off the boredom and invited Rebel to come video their show this afternoon?

Went past the theatre on the night bus last night (well, early this morning) and they are obviously in no rush saying goodbye to Guys & Dolls as all the marquee signage (bar the main show logo & dice at the very front) is still all up!

Oh is it?! That's really interesting. I wonder if they get any tourists going into the box office and asking for tickets to Guys and Dolls?! I would've thought they would've taken it down by now and started putting up The Last Tango signage. However, they could just leave it for the moment if they haven't got that signage yet - just like Savoy did when G&D left and there was a gap for FG to come in, they didn't put up anything on the marquees

It definitely looks like the show is still playing there. I also thought the signs would've come down straight away even if they don't have anything for Last Tango (though surely they could put some posters in the frames if nothing else) to avoid confusion, exactly like you say!

Yes, I popped into Foyles between shows yesterday & was surprised to see not only the signs up but all the light bulbs flashing too. It definitely makes it look as if the show is still running.
