Seems I've waited in vain for someone else to start a thread so here goes. Surely I cannot be the only poster to have seen this prizewinning film, as it opened this weekend but had been shown at previews and Q & As here from last summer onwards?
Briefly described, it's "a knife-sharp satire on art, culture and communication in the digital age" so I am not the best person to write about it, especially as the director's previous film, Force Majeure, left me underwhelmed, but anyway: this too didn't live up to my expectations and was unnecessarily long (2 hours 30) and though entertaining and amusing at times, a surprisingly tense watch. It struck me as very Michael Haneke - which in my case isn't a good sign - but I am sure others here can offer a more intelligent and positive view.
