So, I went to see this last night, having not seen it since previews.
It's better. Much better. Performances across the board are fantastic, and Jamie Muscato is a welcome addition to the cast.
Shame it's closing. I'm sure it will tour.

Shame it's closing. I'm sure it will tour. I suspect if it tours it'll be on a much simpler production. Challenge is to make it more commercially viable to tour one of the easiest ways would be to shrink the cast. However, considering the requirement for distinct groups here who can't really overlap (as fun as it would be to see the Aunties as Harriers), that's going to be quite tough for this show.

Finally got to see this Very friendly and accomodating box office staff who sold us Day seats In my non professional opinion - keep the cast, bring in a new director and chop 20 minutes or so off it
It made me think of Alice.wonderland maybe because both are about teenagers - this is so much better, more positive and much clearer about what it's saying. But please give young people something new and great to say - folk need more than Grease

None of mine either. But I would be tempted to finally see it if it was on a comp!

Now they are more likley to end up on a cheap tour supporting someone from Corrie, x Factor or a Nolan sister......... Saw Bendit for probably the last time wed matinee, and its looking very good. The cast seem now to have been unleashed on it - lots of extra touches . Its a great tribute to its cast. There's a lot of vocal talent there that should be used again, fast. Dew and Samuels in particular is a great double act .

I saw it tonight. I really enjoyed it actually after reading some not so positive things on here and the previous place.
Sure a couple of scenes and songs were a bit long but it really is a shame it's closing in my opinion.
They were filming it tonight. Also there's been a flood/leak so the you couldn't go in the main doors.

Nothing for it at the What's On Stage awards. I'm amazed Big Daddy Shenton didn't come screaming down the aisle "But I love it!!!!!".

Is this selling out now in its final weeks?

I saw it on a Friday night about 4 months into its run and the theatre was around half full. It's a shame it didn't do better because I thought it was a quality musical and had a well integrated score and book
