Are there any Twitter experts on the board? I've had quite the dilemma over the past 2 days and there doesn't seem to be a way to solve it. Here's what's happened... I often use Twitter to advertise my theatre blog, which I have been doing with no issues for 3 years. I was holding an event on my blog the other week and it had all become really popular, but Twitter soon became suspicious of this overnight popularity. They then chose to deem my blog as "unsafe", so now everytime that someone tries to click on the link to my blog, it comes up with a warning stating that my website may be "harmful". I have contacted them three times but the issue hasn't been rectified. If this wasn't bad enough, tweets on my account (that contained said link) have disappeared and people are unable to access them. Does anyone have any advice? Is there an efficient way to contact Twitter? I'm running out of options and I have no idea how to reach a human being at Twitter (as opposed to the automated support bots) to help me with my problem. Any help would be much appreciated!

I believe @emicardiff has experienced an issue with linking to blogposts from Twitter, don't know if she'll have any particular advice but you're not alone at least.

I did! and heard from a few others too. It seems they've decided anyone linking say, a blog post with # is now 'spam' which is ridiculous as likewise I've done all my linking that way for years.
One work-around is to go to you blog page itself and click on the 'tweet link' (or however it's written on your platform) and do it via the pop up from there. Weirdly they don't seem to block that. But it's annoying and stupid. Which generally seems to sum up Twitter's support haha.

That's the rubbish bit about these massive internet companies, they don't tend to have a human at the end of a phone who can actually respond to issues. You don't realise it's an issue until you depend on them to a certain degree and can't get any help.

I've just experimented and I can tweet my website (WordPress with my name.com as the url) with no issue but any of my blogs are marked as 'spam' which is infuriating.

but any of my blogs are marked as 'spam' I didn't know they actually read the stuff users link to... You see they flagged my blogs as so SO very "special" that they are beloved, and read by all at Twitter HQ. True story.

Thank you all for your advice and taking the time to respond to my original post. 3 days after the original issue occurred, the warning on my blog has now been taken off. The only problem remaining is that a few of my tweets have still disappeared, but hopefully this will also be rectified soon.
