Aha! Thank you. I saw that production twice but it passed me by... Talk about Kiss Me Quick!

Not seen the show for some years, in fact the last time Craig Mather was Marius and during the interim he has left & come back. Simon Bowman had his critics with his JVJ (me included) but Peter Lockyer is not even at Bowman's level which is not particularly high. Who is the Understudy for him? Joining PL is Chris Cowley a weak Enjolras and a completely unconvincing leader. The positives R Ann Go & E Noblezada both are a joy to listen to displaying radiant smooth voices - the highlight of the show for me. I also liked the the person that played the Bishop of Digne who came across vocally strong. The ensemble seemed strong.

a weak Enjolras again? damn...this is my fave role - they tend to have a 2 years schedule of great/week Enjolras
loved Anton Zetterholms Enjolras (ok, he is my fave in everything O:) ) , then Michael Colbourne, who was absolutely week and sounded horrible in my ears - then Bradley Jaden, who was amaaaazing, and now Chris Cowley? (hope i get to see Jonny Purchase as Enj, but i doubt my luck) ... well, will see how Chris is next week then

I have front row stalls tickets to see it in September, this will be my 11th time seeing it but it's been a few years so very excited! Has anyone sat front row before, it's the seats directly behind the conductor which are apparently quite popular

Shame, I only got to see him play as Javert in the Bournemouth concert. He was off ill when I saw the anniversary tour in Southampton
Mind you watching the Manilla publicity videos I did notice his Javert-voice he used to put on (very reminiscent of Phillip quast) was missing. Maybe he has been playing it for long enough, especially after performing soon after Canada and Broadway
Here's hoping he goes on to playing different roles. I heard he'd like to give Miss Tunchball a go and did audition once

Saw the new cast today and loved it! Peter Lockyer was amazing as JVJ and Jeremy Secomb is a brilliant Javert, "Stars" and the confrontation with JVJ was just wooow. Eva is a wonderful Eponine, i might have a new fave in that role. Was sad that Zoe Doano was not there but Charlotte Kennedy was great too. Was excited the most to see the new Enjolras and i really liked his play and although he has a bit of a "deeper " voice (for lack of words) i would love to see him again. I could watch the show again and again and again

Hello resourceful people.. Does anyone know if Rachelle and/or Eva will be on leave from 11-18 September? You should be fine, the only major cast member scheduled to be off st that time is Zoe Doano who plays Cosette regularly.

Does anyone know if Jeremy Secombe is on holidays middle of October? Thinking about booking for Les Mis and would like to avoid getting the understudy Adam Pearce

Charlotte Kennedy as Gavroche last night Awesome, thanks for sharing that! In all the times I've seen LM (50+) I've not seen an emergency Gavroche, experienced a show stop or really anything unusual of note!

I presume the reason why a female ensemble is the emergency cover Gavroche, Clare Parrish was in the past, is because the female ensemble have a shorter average height and have a higher vocal range than the male ensemble.

Oh really? Wouldn't Cornell John or Hans Peter Janssens be a better Gavroche cover?

Oh really? Wouldn't Cornell John or Hans Peter Janssens be a better Gavroche cover? Yes! HP would be a brilliant Gavroche. I bet most people can see past the fact that he's 6"3

Front stalls last night - stunning show. Adam Bayjou on as Valjean and Tamsin Dowsett as Madame T. The Thenardiers were outstanding. We'd gone to see Eva Noblezada as we'd loved her in Miss Saigon and her Eponine was beautiful. Also loved Rachelle Ann Go as Fantine and our Gavroche was great too.
But the buzz around the theatre - and here's something I NEVER thought I'd come home and say after a Les Mis performance - Javert rocked the house off! Jeremy Secomb was on fire!
A well deserved standing ovation - definitely the best Les Mis I've seen since the early days.

Was lucky enough to be there for the 30th anniversary performance.
Without doubt Jeremy Secomb almost stopped the show. In all my (many) times at Les Mis his Stars got the best reception I've seen. He was outstanding.

The thing is you won't know for sure who is on until you walk into the theatre. And even then things can still change last minute.

Are any cast members scheduled to be on holiday in 2-10 December 2016? Thanks... ST I believe multiple cast members are leaving at the start of December so you certainly won't get the current main cast.
