I'd hope so. I hope they celebrate this closing as well as the new one coming in rather than just celebrating the new one.

It’s a black armbands and copious use of hankies job...to close the original is one of the worst booking decisions ever imo....there’s a grief that can’t be spoken...💔

Row A of the Dress Circle - it had to be done! Throw in the original orchestrations (including those famous Yamaha DX7s!) whilst your at it... It’s going to be emotional! But I do wonder if it will be acknowledged, or will there be a pop of confetti and that’s it - job done? It has been somewhat of a controversial decision, it does make you wonder whether or not Camack will appear, flanked by the Original writers, or will we all be crying into our G&Ts by 10.30pm?

A million times yes. Squared. I'd say CM is likely to make an appearance, loves an excuse to get up on stage. Although, speechs and a todo does imply recognition that the show is closing which could put the "longest running"-title into jeopardy. |

Sadly I couldn't do the weekend of the final show, so I'm going the week before to see the original one last time. On the plus side, I was able to get the two front row stalls seats behind the conductor.

When I booked for the last one I only managed front row of Upper Circle which in fairness isnt that bad. I am sitting in the seat next to the very first one that I went to. I didn't realise until after I booked because I was just trying to book a seat. So my number 1 was 5th Nov 2015 AA2 UC and number 150 will be the last one 😭.
