Any rumours or news who Grantaire will be for 5 weeks? Now Tom has left. Andy Conaghan. He's currently first cover, as I'm sure you already know!

I saw the show tonight - first time ever seeing the turntable staging as they got rid of it in the US - and I was soooooo into it. Just gorgeous and beautifully done. I thought since it has been running for so long that it might come off a bit stale, but it was so fresh and exciting. We had the Javert understudy, but he was INCREDIBLE. He really told the story. And his voice was gorgeous. I did find the suicide a bit cheesy and "80s," but other than that I loved the show, and everyone was in fine voice.

Which makes me wonder if he was just covering that one show because the part wasn't there. Or it could be him, I'll find out Wednesday when I go. But I'm so impatient.

Apparently Adam Linstead is returning to Les Mis, and judging from his comments, it looks like he's coming back to play Grantaire. What happened with Andy?

Nothing he is still in it he is only covering unil Adam turns up. They will be down more than one person by the end of the cast change otherwise,so I guess thats why they got him in. What I dont get is why they didnt rehearse him into it before so he could just take over from Tom.

First tip is to keep an eye on the Groups website. There's always advance booking for groups so if you see that extend to a later date, that's the best heads up on a general booking extension.

I wonder if it was due to cast illness or technical problems? If the former, you'd think that a show that's been running as lon as Les Mis would have enough former cast members in the vicinity of London to get them back to cover even at short notice.

I understand it was a power issue. They were running on secondary power and it would have been unsafe to run the show.

I just re-read the press release once again and realised that Hayden Tee doesn't in fact (re)start until 17 July - so everyone who has booked for dates between 12 June and 17 July (myself included!) will get to see Killian alongside Jeremy...yay!

I understand that the cast of Les Miserables (and School of Rock) will be performing on ITV's Tonight At The London Palladium on Wednesday. As I think the show is actually recorded on Sunday, goodness knows which cast it will be, or what type of hungover performance they will give!

It was recorded on Wednesday 24th May, as far as I'm aware

As I think the show is actually recorded on Sunday, goodness knows which cast it will be, or what type of hungover performance they will give! From what I can tell, this suggests that it's just Jeremy Secomb performing, but not 100% sure!
