Does Killian and Stewart have any holiday coming up? Afaik Killian does every show except for Mondays and Stewart is due off 1st week of Jan Christmas period is a bit weird though because they do stupid numbers of shows in a row.

A bit of an inane question - any updates on who covered Killian for the afternoon and evening shows of the ninth?

Chris Jacobsen the alternate I believe Thank you. I had the pleasure of watching him for the saturday matinee, and his Valjean was sublime. I couldn't afford to watch les mis more often and foolishly didn't check the cast list -- but his rendition was convincing and beautiful, and he is definitely going to be one of the JVJ's in my heart from now on!

Chris regularly gets rave reviews on a Les Mis Facebook page I follow, along with cries of 'what does he have to do to get the role full time' !

I love the musical, but I wasn't expecting to be so blown away by the completeness of valjean's portrayal, his emotions and vocals the whole gamut. And it's hard to believe he's been understudying for this role for a decade! (His voice might be a little bit too old going by my phantom preferences but yes, I'd love to see him do phantom as well

Bradley Jaden coming back as Javert for 2 weeks from 15th January - Jordan is on this week, and I assume next week. I wonder why Jordan isn't being used for the month until Stewart returns - I assume it's either Jordan (or his other cover) has holiday booked, or they don't want to go a month with only 1 understudy for the role.

From what I’m hearing it’s connected to the arena tour later this year

Managed to catch KD and BJ together last week. They worked really well together and sounded brilliant. I’d return to see them again if I could!
Also, thanks for the top tip on here of the discounted seats directly behind the conductor. Must be the best value seat in London.
A shame the person next to me couldn’t sit still and was filming parts of the show…

I did my second trip to Les. Is this year and thought Bradley and Killian were superb together. If anyone can get a ticket and want to see. Kris, he does every Monday but this coming week he is doing Tuesday as well. I’m going to try and book again to see how him and Bradley get on together

I felt almost positive I've seen him as Valjean but apparently not? Fascinated as to who I'm confusing him with 😂😂

Nothing to do with his ability and I'm looking forward to seeing him, but at 52, this must be the oldest they've ever cast the role. He's around the same age as John Owen Jones, but he was much younger when he first played it. I'm saying that as a positive by the way, as I do think Les Mis has a tendency to cast really young these days. But odd that they're bringing him in new for just one month.

Peter Lockyer is not too dissimilar to Peter Joback as is a previous Valjean.
