It hasn't changed up there, except they have filled the centre aisle in and added a row at the back plus slips at the sides. You need to go back to J if you want a fair view from the cheapest seats. Brilliant, thank you very much, that's a great help. I'm supposed to be taking my Mum for her birthday but can't afford the Dress Circle any more. |

Can you afford the band B seats behind the conductor in the front row of the stalls? If so, they are the absolute best bargain in the house. How much earlier does one have have to book to actually get those?! Got lucky and exchanged my original ticket for it once when someone returned it a few days before the show, best view and experience ever, but I've clicked on random dates all through October and haven't been able to find a single one! Genuine question. |

The two seats behind the conductor have an even better view now than under the old configuration, A16 is currently available on Thursday 11 June, 7.30pm, both A15 and A16 on Tuesday 30 June 7.30pm , Tuesday 7 July 7.30pm. Wednesday 8 July 7.30pm. Tuesday 14 July 7.30pm and Wednesday 15 July 2.30pm. A15 is there on Saturday 18 July 7.30pm and A15 and A16 on Monday 3 August 7.30pm and also Wednesday 3 August 2.30pm. Haven't looked beyond then. |

It's horribly depressing when seats that are priced between £52.50 and £60, depending on the day of the week, are being recommended as a cheaper way to see the show! When I first saw Les Mis in 2009 the 6 seats in the then front row BB were £20. I saw the show a dozen times from there. Since they were removed & the pit reconfigured I've only seen the show once, on a quiet mid-week matinee in 2014 when I was able to get a stalls seat for around £40 at TKTS. With prices what they are now I doubt I'll be seeing the show again.

In the good old days of Martin Guerre, you could get £10 student tickets for both shows (Les Mis/MG) and alternate between Glyn Kerslake and Hal Fowler who were both sharing roles in the two shows. Topped off with a £3.50 brunch at Debenhams, I felt like student royalty!

I love the idea of being able to see the same actors in 2 shows alternately, wish they still did that nowadays. Actually my dream musicals scenario is a rep company that did 1 performance per week of each of 8 of my favourite shows, with the same cast members appearing in if not all then at least several different shows apiece each week. I suspect it would probably be most actors' worst nightmare though!

Blatant profiteering since they discovered the part of economics 101 that explains the concept of pricing a discriminating monopoly . My favourite seat from 2008- about 2015 now costs more than £100 more . The equivalent seat on the tour - which arguably has the better cast - is still in the £70 bracket. I doubt the actors are being paid that much more , or that Cameron has decided to charge himself more rent?
But its about to test the economic theory to destruction as Corona cuts back the tourist market and the domestic one at the same time.

Still amazed , if pleasantly surprised, to see the EPK running on the street facing screen at the theatre is the touring cast still. They don't seem to have bothered - perhaps because the London cast is still changing.... |

Either Shaun Escoffery or Edward Baruwa, it's hard to say, they both had their head shaved when they played Enjolras. Shaun was in the 2005/2006 cast, Edward in the 2007/2008 one, so it's actually more likely to be the latter. |
