Does anyone know any deals going for this at the moment? Nothing I've come across. There's the £20 bargain front row seats if you hunt across the Nimax website and find a date when they are still available. Otherwise, watch the dynamic pricing on the day. But this sells really well in a small theatre and is closing soon so I wouldn't expect many offers.

The news that Jerusalem is going to the Apollo in April does make me think that Jamie will end up at another theatre if it does return in 2022.

Have seen before so don’t mind missing out on the odd scene!

Lifesaver! Never knew about the £20 front row, just nabbed 2! Have seen before so don’t mind missing out on the odd scene! Front row used to be the lottery tickets. They released a lot of extra tickets yesterday (essentially the tickets that have been held for social distancing). so there are lots of front row singles available throughout the remaining dates if you look for them. Same for Six also. I was also there tonight (front row) thanks to the ticket release. They must be hit very hard by injury or illness as lots of covers on for the student roles and they've even brought back a former cast member (who was covering the lines for two roles). Great job from Adam Taylor in the lead role. I'll post more details tomorrow as it's time for bed.

I meant to write some comments on Thursday evening's show, then got distracted. The cast did an excellent job, plagued by people not being available.
Adam Taylor was on as Jamie and did really well. I saw one of his very first performances when he was second cover. Since then he's been tour first cover and is now West End first cover, so he's much more experienced with the role and has the vocals down to a tee. He looks a lot older than Noah, but then I guess you could say that about a lot of the cast.
Rachel Seiran was on at Pritti. She did brilliantly too and she can't have been on in the lead role with Adam much before (if ever). She hasn't got the vocals perfect yet, but she does do a great Sheffield accent.
Phil Nicholl is back as Hugo and Loco for what must be his fifth of sixth run. The definitive Hugo!
The cast board had Keenan Knight down as Young Loco, but it was really James Gillan as usual.
Marvyn Charles has rejoined the cast (temporarily I suspect) as Mickey and he also covered Levi's lines. A little odd, but it worked. Great to see Marvyn. We also had Ebony Clarke as Fatimah, plus Emma Robotham-Hunt, a swing from the tour cast at Bex. She fit in perfectly too.
It was a unique mix and meant they were (I think) two pupils down on the usual numbers, so you had the stage crew rushing on to move desks and odd things like only two people playing Rush-Paper-Scissors during the interval. A slightly strange line where Fatimah sings about having attended the Drag Show, but then later asks what happened at it, but I guess that's just due to lack of people to cover everything.
A great front row seat. Strangely, there were three empty seats to one side of me, despite them having looked sold (but I guess people can cancel last minute now with the Covid-19 rules). I do like the central part of the front row, even though the stage is high. I had a load of Garry Lee fans sat behind me too and they definitely enjoyed it.
Very enjoyable as always and great to see the unique mix.

I've just seen on FB that Jamie film is coming to Amazon Prime on 17th Sept. Does that mean it's not having a cinema release now?

That looks like the case but I’m still crossing my fingers for a limited cinema release - maybe in some independents rather than the big chains. Fabulousness deserves to be seen on the big screen.

If anyone can get to Edinburgh, The Jamie film has a screening at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on 20th August. it's at the Festival Theatre and seems to have sold well, but they are still quite a few seats left in the upper circle. I suppose the view from there will still be good if they're just projecting it onto the curtain at the front of the stage. (I'm assuming that's how they do it? I've never seen a film there.) You pay what you want up to £10.
I just thought I'd post the info on here as in case anyone is interested and can go.
I can't believe my luck seeing this from a Facebook ad today. I'd got over my initial disappointment from a few months ago that the film doesn't appear to be getting cinema release. Now I get to see it in a cinema-like setting, and early too. I'm so excited!!!!

The Prom got a very limited release but I am so happy I got to see it on the big screen. I hope Jamie gets at least the same (I feel like Edinburgh still counts as international travel from Hampshire so I can’t really justify that option!)

Has anyone here ever booked the £20 restricted view seats in the first two rows? There is a warning that the stage is high but having seen the show before, I can’t imagine you miss much? Thanks.

Yes, many times. I think it's only the front row that's £20 (but some seating plans might make it look like there's an extra row in front). You look up very steeply, but luckily most things you'll want to see are at the front of the stage. You can get lots of engagement from the drag queens when you're in that row too, if that's your thing.

I’ve sat there a few times it’s a bit high but great value for money you don’t miss anything really off centre I think is best if possible

I sat on the far edge seat of the front row and having seen the show before it was fine - little bit restricted during the opening scene.

I was in the middle of the front row. The only thing you couldn't see were Jamie's shoes when he was walking [ & I'm only 5ft 2ins.]

The view is probably better from the ends of the front row and you can get an aisle seat, but I find the seats more cramped (and you can see into the wings, which is good/bad depending if you find that interesting or distracting). So, personally I would try and go more central.

The movie eventually has a release date, after being delayed. 17th September, exclusively on Amazon Prime.

You can preorder the film cast album on Amazon. Out 10/9 but no mention of actual CD. I hope there is one.
