Yes, she’s gone for complete contrition. Not much else she could do really.

She gives a bad name to genuine women who are abused [ or abused men come to that]. Her behaviour may stop real people being believed.

Well Jeremy Vine was very gentle with her. I expect the interview on CBB tonight will be pre-recorded and Emma will be the same. This is all Ch5 and I imagine a deal had been done to give her the opportunity to try and put things right. She says she wasn’t being paid for the interview today and that no one had advised her to do it.
If she’s got some sort of “problem” then no-ones going to benefit from her getting a total monstering. She was very calm, sad, apologetic. Was it an act? Who knows. There were references made to things that have happened to her in the past re domestic abuse and although she didn’t make a direct relationship between that and what happened it was definitely put “out there”.

There were references made to things that have happened to her in the past re domestic abuse and although she didn’t make a direct relationship between that and what happened it was definitely put “out there”. I think she's mentioned before the CBB experience that she had been in an abusive relationship in the past. She was in a storyline in 'Emmerdale' where her character was hit by her husband and she talked about it being close to home for her. I think she worked with Refuge after that. The charity Women's Aid has defended Roxanne, and back up her claim that something seemingly innocent can trigger abuse memories, saying: “Play fighting may not seem serious but if you have been in an abusive relationship it can seem frightening and even trigger memories of the abuse. Domestic abuse means you don’t feel safe in your home environment, and as a woman who has previously spoken about being in a violent and abusive relationship, Roxanne clearly did not feel comfortable going to sleep in the same room as someone who had physically hurt her, even if that was not his intention. “An estimated 1.2 million women experienced domestic abuse last year alone; while you might not think you know someone who has experienced domestic abuse, it is highly likely that you do. That’s why it is so important for us to show understanding and empathy for someone who is clearly upset by certain behaviours rather than blaming them for overreacting. For any survivors out there, you are not alone. Women’s Aid is always here to listen to you, believe you and support you.”

This is the problem with making (multiple, it seems) false allegations.

Wish they could charge her for making false allegations.

Perhaps they could switch her into the role of Wicked Stepmother?

So I've just watched the Emma Willis interview (having not been following any of this properly admittedly) and Emma was having NONE of it. Good for her. Then caught up with the clips they showed before that interview. While I am firmly on the side of 'believe women' obviously in a situation where everything is recorded and we can all see, the issue wasn't in debate. And yes, it may have been triggering of a past memory but that isn't how she seems to be describing it at the time. I felt for Ryan just seeing those clips.
Anyway I hope if she is suffering some mental health issues and past trauma she gets some help. And if she's just a nasty piece of work, well equally I hope she learns a lesson.
Emma Willis to do political interviews with that death stare please.

Roxy needs to get herself sorted - no doubt Channel 5 might offer her one of those Celebs in Rehab programmes. Emma Willis did a good interview with her.

She's on that Island programme with Bear Grylls next week, not ideal timing.

She's on that Island programme with Bear Grylls next week, not ideal timing. Apparently she quits, traumatised, after five days saying that the smoke from the camp fire reminds her of being trapped in a house fire when she was younger. I am not making this up!

She cannot be that fragile if she was allowed to go on a Bear Grylls show.
I'd read about the house fire story - one former Big Brother winner on twitter sarcastically said in reality she maybe tried to light one of her own farts.

Emma Willis would do well to interview and level her death stare at her own producers who allowed this drama to play out for ratings (it’s pantomime doncha know) then let Pallet take all the flack on her own. As soon as she said what she did they should have played her back the recording and said that it didn’t look the way she reported it and offered for her to see the counsellor. But no, they issued Thomas a warning, sat back and rubbed their hands together with glee at the thought of all the advertising revenue.

Just announced that both CBB and the civilian version is ending after this year. Personally, I think it’s great news. While there have been some entertaining people over the years, I think the whole thing has really gone downhill and with a serious drop in viewing numbers over the years I am not really that surprised at this decision.

I think the controller of Channel 5 has been looking to get rid of it for a while, it’s a relic of the previous ownership and the channel is going in a more upmarket direction with the likes of Michael Palin and Jeremy Vine

It was always likely to be the last year. Channel 5 were paying Endemol a big fee to run the series.
I agree with the comment about Michael Palin whilst Jeremy Vine is just doing what Matthew Wright did.

They need to let it rest at least for a couple of years and come back with new, exciting twists. I feel like every year they do the exact same thing.

The peak years of BB were the first few - Nasty Nick, Craig, Paul and Helen, Brian, Alex, Jade (RIP), Kate, Nadia, Craig and Anthony, Nikki etc.
After that it started to go off although the 2008 one had the blind chap Mikey in it who delivered a wonderful one liner to a privileged girl called Nicole. He said she was up her own arse. She looked shocked at him and said I'm not to which Mikey calmly replied you are. Nicole had the highest percentage of an eviction vote in UK BB history too.
