That is the first clip I have seen of the series - and what else could Amanda have done after that apparently inadvertent slip? An apology is all that can be offered.
To refuse it in that way doesn't make India look good.

Well, she could have not tried to wriggle out of it by saying she calls her wife “he” 😆
Honestly, every single time I say I’m not going to watch CBB and they pull this on me 🙄

Have been reading about India's 'drag phobia' and her likening it to blackface...
She really doesn't understand drag culture

I rather like Andrew. Not just because he has a good name.

Another Andrew fan here. I'm watching mainly because of him. He doesn't need to talk, he can just stand and look pretty.

The whole thing has huge potential to kick off big style and I’m going to be there when it does!

India is losing any sympathy people may have had for her as Shane C/Courtney seems to be very popular and gives reasoned answers. Wayne I could see getting bitchy too, as he'll have seen it all before. Ann will just say what she thinks and won't back down. The US housemates will give straight replies too, India just seems to be trying to play the victim.
She wasn't happy when she was a man and since she transformed and had the bits cut off, she doesn't seem much happier.
Best lines I've heard about India is - had a bellend, is now a bellend. Or Kerry Ellis has let herself go a bit!

MY biggest gripe with India is her apparent judgemental attitude. She is not afraid of drag queens, she is using that to hide behind, because the fact is, she is prejudice against them. Yet she expects everyone to be blowing smoke up her *peach emoji* and bending over backwards to make sure she’s not going to kick off.
She’s really not coming across as a particularly nice person unfortunately. I’m a huge supporter of the trans community, but her individual actions just show her up to be immature and looking for offence.

India was doing very nicely as the focus of everyone’s attention until Courtney walked in and promptly let her dress drop off. Since then India has been looking more and more grumpy and that has become her “story”. I can see how being eclipsed on tv by a drag queen might not be a great feeling but the “drag phobic” comments are unwise. Imagine if anyone dared to say they were transphobic?

There are pictures online of India posing with Drag Queens, Her sudden 'phobia' comes her need to be the centre of attention. She has totally blown her chance to educate people about being trans. She wants to be accepted by everyone and yet doesnt want to accept anyone else.
Hopefully she's first out. Are nominations this week?
Andrew is very easy on the eye and seems a nice guy, Malika is coming across very well too.

Totally agree with these comments, India is not coming across well and needs to give out the acceptance that she desires for herself. At the moment I would say Shane J is my favourite to win. He’s coming across as a lovely person and very articulate in his opinions.

When India transitioned, he would have had to live as woman for so long before he had it cut off and the various operations, so you could say she when she was a he was effectively living in drag, was he scared of himself.
I'm waiting for Ann to ask her "When did you start using ladies toilets".

I love me some CBB! As usual I don't know most of the people in there. This is an interesting bunch as there seem to be no huge diva's, male or female, this time. Am surprised at how nice and well behaved most of them are and only 2 people giving bad vibes: Ann and India. Most of the arguments that India has had go back to her own insecurities and you can see she's in turmoil. She desperately want to be accepted as a woman and fit in, which is totally understandable, but she's alienating people instead. Still quite a calm house so far. This is only the beginning though, waiting for huge drama and for people to start getting with each other... *eats popcorn*

There's been face to face nominations and an eviction and still not a ripple in the house. I think we have become so used to watching excessive people in there that this house seems suspiciously calm now. Could we really be seeing how a group of mostly nice, mature, intelligent and emotionally stable people can live together in peace for a few weeks? Even India came over well last night by being so self-aware.
I have put down the popcorn, am too confused by seeing all this kindness on CBB instead of the usual hostility. Bet BB is trying to come up with ways to stir things up now!

Who are these 'celebrities?! Indeed. It should be done on the trades description act. Used to watch it years ago, but like most of the mindless twaddle on these reality shows it is just not entertainment. In my view!!

Never watched CBB in my whole life, but I have been sneaking a peak at this year's. I've just found out that India has been evicted. Thank goodness. I mean she seemed to be good television but was a hypocrite and extremely annoying. I swear she couldn't start a single sentence without declaring "I am a woman" first.
And yeah, the term 'celebrity' is just thrown about nowadays. I know none of these people besides Ann Widdecombe.

^Her neck in debt, since the high court ruled last week that it wouldn't hear her appeal against the libel trial settlement. Ooh that is very good
