Caught this on Saturday night at Manchester Apollo. Left with plenty of time to spare and ended up stuck in motorway standstill traffic tearing my hair out. Parked up with 2 minutes to spare but the show went up at exactly 7:30pm so we were held entry until the end of the Intro/Start of the first sketch. I became the latecomer I normally internally tut at. Apologies all; most embarrassing! Thankfully the first sketch was 'Go Johnny' which I'm not much of a fan of anyway, so no real disappointment there. Some real gems of entertainment and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Highlights were the return of Pam Doove and Herr Lipp. The theatrical references throughout were brilliant. No real issues with sound for the Les McQueen song (apart from the video drifting out of sync for about a minute) but all intelligibility remained. In fact I remember thinking how clear the whole show sounded but this was a 'theatre' venue as opposed to arena show. For those that have seen the show and may know about Disney musicals..... {Spoiler - click to view}
The Tubbs & Edward song & reprise... Was this a parody of a song from Frozen? Visually I got that hint but I've not seen the show to know. |

Saw this last night, was a bit heavy on old material in the first half - strange seeing a comedy show where all the crowd response is cheers of recognition rather than actual laughter. But all the new stuff was great - One Man, Two plimsolls was an early highlight and all the body fluid stuff in the second half was painfully funny. Especially the Pauline and Micky bed scene  |

Just out from seeing the evening show of this.
I watched the TV show far too young and it is so ingrained my my mind.
The second act was far superior to the first (although I did enooy the first and its amazing how just their voice and physicality create the character).
Seemed to be a few moments where Reece broke character.
Herr Lipp was a particular highlight as was anything with Pauline!
Such a fun evening

Although the League have gone much further with it... far more bodily fluids, for example! I liked when they messed with the gravity too. It's the last gravity bit (and Pemberton) that makes it, it's beautifully telegraphed |

Never realised they were doing arenas. Who's great idea was that. SO totally wrong for the League.
Glad I saw it at Hammersmith, although even then our seats were too far back.

AWESOME. Decided not to buy tour tickets then loved the revival series (especially Pam Doove doing the weather), so glad I can watch it.

Olive was in the first “radio” half of the live show (where the gents are dressed in their tuxedos), but they seem to have only broadcast the second half here. A shame really, as there was a great “Mr & Mrs” style quiz show sketch... strange too, as both halves were filmed and featured on the DVD release.
