As that big day is approaching ever closer and we all start t go our separate ways to spend time with our family and lived ones, I just wanted to take this time to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
As my parents and extended family are abroad, my sister will come round to mine with a friend. A mate will also come round and with my flatmate we will have an 'orphans' Christmas.
Whatever it is that you do and regardless of your religious customs or beliefs/traditions, eat, drink, be careful on the roads and with the snow and please come back healthy and well.

I too would like to chime in with Christmas greeting to everyone here. You have made me laugh, made me grimace, informed and made me think!!! Thank you all for that.
My partner and I have decided to have a quiet Christmas this year, but I seem to have forgotten that when I was in my local Poundland/Fortnum's as I have enough food for a small shelter with three kings, shepherds and a babe in swaddling clothes (whatever they are!)

By the way for anyone at a loose end on Christmas, there's a lovely thing on Twitter called #JoinIn that Sarah Millican does every year- people tweet what they're up to, and generally have a bit of a chat. It brings a lot of people together and is a bit of fun...
I'll be joining in with Join in if anyone wants to see what me and Nelson the dog get up to! (hint: eat)

Being such an un-festive person I've only just noticed this thread - but it's the right day for me to add my wishes to you all.
So thank you, everyone here who has posted helpful reviews, responses and info or started interesting discussions; also to those whose jokes have entertained me (when I've understood them or they're not too scatalogical) - yes, even Theatremonkey.com's contributions, though I know he's not around to see this.
But above all to the wonderful team of admins/mods who created this board and continue to provide and manage it for the benefit of everyone else, and without payment and in their own time.
Thank you to you all and I hope everyone has a lovely Xmas and a Happy New Year!
