First of all let me say this (the Theatreboard Poll) is an excellent idea.
Can I suggest though that some clarification is needed on which theatres qualify for different sections? My problem is the old chestnut of "what is West End" which has been discussed here before. It seems to me unfair to group together theatres with such diverse clout and resources as the National, or even the Donmar and Almeida, with rooms in a pub and so on.
Haven't seen a thread where this is mentioned. If there is one please merge or delte or whatever.

I agree that this needs to be clarified. However, bear in mind that the poll thread is just for the mods to find the shortlist. So, to some extent, most of the duplicate votes are irrelevant. The shortlist, selected by the mods based partly on the threads will then be used to create a final poll to be voted on (see here theatreboard.co.uk/thread/3963/theatreboard-poll-2017 ). I think a similar thing that needs to be agreed on is how to deal with transfers; does, say, Ferryman come under Gielgud or RC.

Any off west end/fringe/regional/touring production to transfer to the west end will be eligible in both categories as long as they both opened in their respective places in 2017.
