Have just caught up with Darcy’s revelatory Looking For Fred Astaire. What a gem of a programme this turned out to be...! Well worth a watch for all sorts of goodies- scenes of some of the West End and Broadway theatres in the 20s, a chat with Ginger’s ghost writer, and time spent with the chreographer of La La Land. There’s even a blink and you’ll miss it moment with Petula Clark! If you taped it, and- like me- almost let it go, don’t!

And here’s another one I nearly let go... Judi Dench: My Passion For Trees. Another gem. Beautifully filmed. Simply intriguing. Judi speaking some Shakespeare (one of the very few actors that makes it sound like it makes sense!). And Judi’s ‘new’ chap.
A lovely programme.
