I dislike Charles (I've mellowed, I used to hate the git), but I think that is a lovely touch. Great PR for the PoW.
Twitter trolls will be triumphant in the Hewitt jokes tho.

I wonder if Harry's father is going to give them away? I feel sorry for Thomas Markle. Impecunious, living in isolation and ill health in a small Mexican town, he is loved enough to be invited to give away his daughter, but has never been introduced to the man he must give her to. Informed by his other daughter that he looks shabby and silly in pap photos, advised by her to let himself be fake "papped" in smart suits to improve his image, he is now humiliated for harmlessly accepting money for allowing those pictures of himself to be taken. Presumably a dastardly royal courtier, who looks just like Pip Torrens, is behind this mess: of the bride's father being kept at arm's distance from his future son-in-law until he meets him at the altar, but really, this poor man!  The wedding is already a untraditional wedding, being held at Windsor Castle.
So why not? Have Harry's father lead Ms Windsor down the aisle, that will raise a few eyebrows, but will be dead romantic.
Didn't I say, that Harry's father should walk Megan down the aisle, I even said that it would be romantic, especially for a royal wedding.
And there was me believing that James Hewitt wasn't invited!!!

Well I just hope the day goes well and they have a great time. It does make a changed to have some positive news for a change away from the shootings, stabbbings and brexit.

I have a vision of the dress that I hope is the case, with a tight design ala Pippa at the last one, but flared out from the legs down. Showing off her beautiful shape but keeping it classy and elegant at the same time. Who said Royal Weddings can't be sexy?!

Some of these hats are just unacceptable if you happen to end up being sat behind the wearer.
If you are attending a big event like this, it is just rude to block to view of the people in the 4 rows behind you!

I’m loving the detail the commentators are going into, based on a brief glimps as the car went past.

I've just seen a picture of her in the car. I love the tiara, and it seens like the collar is pure white, so no messing around with lace or anything, at least on the top!
