Has anybody had their invite yet? I'm planning on just turning up. It usually works.

I turned it down. Seeing Chess. I’m seeing Hairspray in Southend with the family. Booked ages ago. Harry and Megan should have given us more notice.

I’m sure RYAN must have had his invite by now?! Natch. I'll be sat with Kate and Her Maj. Probably laughing at Meghan Markdown messing up her curtsey. Anne thinks we should all stand up when the Archbishop asks if anyone has anything against Americans marrying into the family or any just impediment or whatever it is but that might be a bit too much. She's been a bit funny about them ever since they beat her at the 1976 Olympics. I think Biggins and Lesley Joseph will be there too. So that should be fun.

I would be really disappointed if Biggins hasn’t been invited. He’s practically royalty anyway!

Today Tix will be doing rush tickets at 10am on Saturday but you have to be able to get to the church by 11.3am and collect tickets from the gift shop.

I wonder if Theatre Monkey has a seating plan. I can’t find one on the site?

I feel sorry for Thomas Markle. Impecunious, living in isolation and ill health in a small Mexican town, he is loved enough to be invited to give away his daughter, but has never been introduced to the man he must give her to. Informed by his other daughter that he looks shabby and silly in pap photos, advised by her to let himself be fake "papped" in smart suits to improve his image, he is now humiliated for harmlessly accepting money for allowing those pictures of himself to be taken. Presumably a dastardly royal courtier, who looks just like Pip Torrens, is behind this mess: of the bride's father being kept at arm's distance from his future son-in-law until he meets him at the altar, but really, this poor man! The wedding is already a untraditional wedding, being held at Windsor Castle.
So why not? Have Harry's father lead Ms Windsor down the aisle, that will raise a few eyebrows, but will be dead romantic.

Liz and Phil are going to have to pawn some of the Crown Jewels to pay for the buffet!
Pheasant is out but the turkey twizzlers are in!

Thomas Merkel has decided not to participate in the forthcoming Royal wedding, after being exposed as a greedy opportunist freeloader. It seems to me he is over-qualified for the Royal family!

I am enjoying 'Dan BBC Breakfast's' barely contained disdain for having to report on this daily...honestly I have no real objection to the Royals, and Harry is my favourite...but really I'm not even getting a Bank Holiday out of it I'm a bit bored now

If you look at the whole situation, what’s happening is better than an any episode of Corrie or Eastenders. It’s just compulsive viewing. You just don’t know what is going to happen next.
At least it gives us all a break from the farce that is Brexit!

I have to admit, although I disagree with the idea of the monarchy on an intellectual level, I'm an absolute sucker for a royal baby or wedding, 'cos it's just such a nice change from all the absolute horror and stupidity and callousness that makes up the majority of news stories. By this time next week, it'll all be over (bar a few thinkpieces, not quite the same as the current constant rolling news speculation) and coverage of royal goings-on will be back to its normal level, so let's all just hang in there. We can make it through the weekend.

Oh don't get me wrong I'll be an utter WHORE for it all on the day (I do like a nice frock) but there's only so much 'what will the wedding be like' coverage I can stay awake through.
However give me pictures of ALL THE HATS
Honestly for someone with no desire for a wedding I'm a whore for coverage of any wedding. I have a not so secret obsession with 'Say Yes to the Dress' as well

Oh I agree, I just love a wedding. Bitching about the frock, laughing at the complete lack of taste with table decorations, complaining about the food. It's what weddings are all about isn't it? But a royal one? The stakes are so much higher. Personally, I can't wait to see what Meghan Markdown delivers. I'm guessing the meal will be burgers and fries and southern fried chicken with that cheese that's like a piece of plastic and isn't really cheese at all. I can't wait!

I have a not so secret obsession with 'Say Yes to the Dress' as well We need a separate thread to discuss this in depth - never mind the Royal wedding, Say Yes to the Dress is much more entertaining!

It has been reported that when Thomas Markle Jnr recovers from his operation, he is sensationally set to take over the roll of Billy Flynn, at this point it is unclear whether its going to be the West End or Broadway production of Chicago.
Bit of Razzledazzle!!!

Oh bless, Prince Charles will take Meghan Markdown up the aisle tomorrow.
Well, it's one way to welcome her into the family I suppose.
