And smaller venues that are selling out keep the demand high and a hot commodity. Remember when people were hawking Hamilton tickets in New York for over $3000? Are you really comparing a small show like Six, in a 350 seat house, to Hamilton in a 1300 seat house?? Okay.... I still think its not the right theatre for the show, but we'll agree to disagree. I am only because I don't think it would be seen as the big success it is if it was in a larger theatre. But I am prepared to eat my words if it succeeds on Broadway and in Sydney! Never a bad thing to be wrong about a shows success, we will see what happens ey? Thank goodness a new original British show is doing so well that we can discuss just how successful it is?!

I haven't, but I must admit I'm tempted!😁 I tried it twice, Tuesday and Wednesday but I still couldn't get tickets. The problem was that even though I was one step ahead, I still didn't know when to press the "2 tickets" sign to actually be the first. Maybe a computer can detect the exact time and press it at the right time. Just to make it clear: I wasn't trying to get tickets with a cheat, I purchased the £19.50 ones for December. Starting at 9.59 you need to constantly tap back and forth as quickly as possible between the number of tickets you want and the message saying they aren't available yet then hopefully when they go onsale you grab them, but it's still just chance.

Use two devices of some sort - one to use TodayTix, the other to display a clock with a second hand so you know exactly when 10 o’clock hits

You know, in theory, TodayTix rush sounds easier/less effort than turning up at the theatre to day seat (which, in spite of living in central London I can never be bothered to do) but when it comes to shows like SiX and CFA it's become like a military operation!😂

On day 1 I adopted this very strategy- constantly tapping back and forth. On day 2 I tried to tap exactly at 10am. Neither worked Because it's still chance, there are still way more people than tickets. In my experience they don't go onsale at exactly 10am, they release them slightly before (like 10-20 seconds before) which is why the cheat gives you an advantage.

I still think this will transfer. They need to give 300 cheap tickets and make It more affordable while making the producers more money!

I think they should just tour it around sixth form colleges for free as a T.I.E. piece on the dangers of the internet.

Six the Musical will perform a special flashmob at the Tower of London on Saturday 31 August, it has been revealed by the show's social channels.
The smash-hit musical about the six wives of Henry VIII, which won a WhatsOnStage Award earlier this year (after being nominated for six) will perform the flashmob in front of the Tower of London (there is a link to the map here) at midday

I’m looking for a ticket for the sold out performance next Tuesday evening if anyone has any ideas ? Going to try TodayTix on the day as a last resort but not holding out much hope after what I’ve read on here.

Hopefully the fans have already got their share of Rush tickets and are locked out until next month on TodayTix. Good luck!

What was the point of the Flashmob?

Went to the flash mob with my daughter.Bit manic to say the least, but got some lovely photos of the girls in their ‘carriages’ and everyone was in good spirits. They had a drone filming from the grounds of the Tower and one of the Beefeaters did an intro for the Queens.Henry VIII got roundly booed. They did two performances of ‘Six’ and the Queens who were not in costume joined in along with some other dancers. Reason for this publicity event? Not sure, but it was good fun.

Why does it need to have a reason? I think they just wanted to keep a high profile and keep doing things for the fans. When they announced it, they said it was a thank you for fans. I thought it looked fun.

I thought it looked fun. I agree! I don't think there was a huge reason, just an opportunity to give something back to the fans and get them involved. With doing the flashmob and including the fans, they are maintaining the profile of the show, getting people talking about Six and exposing more people to the show overall so it's a win-win really! The fans get to see their favourite Queens dance and they can join in, and the show gets publicity. Just keeping the momentum up.

I've seen fans on twitter asking for the dance routines so I imagine they loved the opportunity to learn the routines and join in.
Think it sounds fun, would have loved to go if it weren't for the fact I had plans.
Trying to get a second trip in to see Six, I think my friend would love it and I'm trying to pin her down for a date.

^The only problem was that everybody wanted to crowd in to the tiny carpeted performance space where the Queen’s were performing so there wasn’t much space to dance at all. After the two appearances by the Queen’s,fans were asked if they would stay behind so that the flash mob could be filmed without the Queens. The fans had learnt the routine from the net as we saw lots of them practising before the event.A funny moment when they finished...the ‘carriages’ went downhill towards the Thames and then a minder realised they were in the wrong place and they had to be driven(cycled) back up the hill to the pick up point. It is a steep incline so there was some pushing going on by the sweaty security people. The Queens kept smiling throughout. The ‘carriages’ looked like those converted bike-things that hang around outside theatres to take patrons with deep pockets back to their hotels.

From the snippets I saw on social media it looked like it was a fun event, if I lived closer I would definitely went along. I hope they post a video of the whole routine with everyone joining in as I would love to see that.

What was the point of the Flashmob? The exact reason why you are asking the question - marketing? PR? Social media exposure?
