That performance was the best the girls have done on tv so far in my opinion! Utter perfection! Just a shame to see the racist trolls on Twitter, hope none of them are exposed to the nastiness, they should be proud of themselves! 🤨🙄 i am really looking forward to this coming to oxford playhouse a while to wait yet!😀

Saw this yesterday afternoon and loved it. Trying to work out who I saw (stupidly didn’t note it down) as Anne Boleyn. If anyone was there and knows please do enlighten me! Can’t work it out from the website cast list!

If she was blonde, it was Vicki Manser (1st cover), if she was a brunette, it would probably be Millie O'Connell.

...by the way, there is no stage door...the cast come through the main foyer to leave.Probably some secret door if cast members need to leave without braving the fan girl masses.

Only two doors out of The Arts: the main foyer; or if looking directly at the building there is a black door to the left that is the wheelchair access route (circle only, no wheelchair access in the stalls) into the theatre as well as access to the upstairs private club. So either way the come out the front. No back door at The Arts, everything including the set has to come through the main doors. Big pieces have to be lowered over the circle rail due to how tight the stalls staircase is.

Aimee has always been lovely to meet, have chatted to her numerous times over the years. Really happy for her in particular when they got the Olivier nod.

I was at the matinee yesterday, my first time seeing Six. I was so excited before hand and it did not disappoint. Vicki Manser was on for Cleves, I thought she was hilarious and pulled the best facial expressions. Thought all the girls were brilliant, Millie is so funny! Maiya took out one of her ear pieces at the end of 'I Don't Need Your Love' just before she sung her big note then put it back in after - does she normally do that? I was in the 3rd row which I have decided was a bit too close, really had to look up to see, it also meant at a couple of points you could see up their dresses which was definitely not what I signed up for! When I go again (which I definitely will) I will aim for the front of the circle or a few more rows back in the stalls. The house seemed pretty much full and the audience were enthusiastic but polite. Really felt that the public performances don't really do the show justice and seeing the songs fully staged was amazing. I felt like this weekends West End Live videos seemed to be the truest to how they were actually staged.

The ladies costumes are either two pieces or based on a leotard design similar to how they make some of the female's costumes on Strictly. So the girls aren't doing a "Marilyn Monroe" as such.

Still embarrassing for the watcher, though. BTW, which seat number was it again? I think it was B8, I am pretty short though so I may not have had to look up so much if I was taller!

Still embarrassing for the watcher, though. BTW, which seat number was it again? I bet a fair few people would look to get a seat in a particular area to see a favourite performer where they can get a "better view".
I once heard a great story about a concert given by fairly well known Leading Man who had some backing singers on his show and one was wearing a tightly fitting evening dress. The girl's mum was in the audience and she was convinced her daughter wasn't wearing any knickers as she couldn't see any VPL. The mum hot footed it to the exit/stage door after the show and the daughter had to convince the mum she was wearing Spanx, no VPL knickers, thong whatever to much embarrassment on the girl's part. The leading man was leaving at the same time and when introduced to the mum said he had a "No Commando" rule on his show which went over the mum's head.
No doubt the backing singer got lots of ribbing from her fellow performers over this incident.

So Millie and Maiya are leaving to be replaced by Courtney Bowman and Danielle Steers respectively. Both current alternates are leaving and being replaced by the other two new girls.
I'm wondering if Vicki and Courtney are going to get leads on the tour?

I'm wondering if Vicki and Courtney are going to get leads on the tour? I might be wrong, but I don’t believe Collette and Shekinah are the replacements for Vicki and Courtney, as they are joining in July and I gather Vicki and Courtney are leaving in October at the same time as Millie and Maiya. So one of the new girls is to replace Grace, and they’re also having an extra alternate/understudy too? They’ve said there’s still more alternates to be announced soon - I guess they will be Vicki and Courtney’s replacements.

Courtney and Vicki stay until October. The new Alternate coming next month is going to replace Grace when she leaves.

Vicki posted on her instagram about Collette joining her and Courntey for a few months and Collette is the new Dance Captain, meaning she's likely replacing Grace.
When Vicki and Courntey leave I can see them having a system of three alternates and a separate understudy (which Collette is being listed as) to act as an emergency/holiday cover.

Sad to see the others go (I think I just wanted all of them to stay together for ever) I think Courtney Bowman will be a brilliant Boleyn and she's fantastic dancer, not really familiar with Danielle Steers but Ive read great things about her, looking forward to seeing the newbies at some point!

Apparently prices have slightly been raised again for new booking period, not by too much though!

Danielle was very vocal about seeing the same people at Bat Stage Door day after day after day so it will be very interesting to see how she finds Six!
