I'm not generally a huge fan of musicals but I have to admit that Six the Musical: the Cruise intrigues me. Wait. WHAT?!

They're casting to do Six on one of those big cruise ship lines, Norwegian I think. Another step towards Six' world domination!
My only cruising experience (ahem) has been the ferry to Calais which was sadly light in the entertainment category.

As an American, we can very easily butcher a British accent. Maybe they will work on it for future productions and performances. Unlikely, I think. None of the Queens have ever had affected accents, they've all just used their own. So if different actresses portray the same Queen, that Queen will just have different accents different performances. So I think it's likely that they're just sticking with that - you sing REALLY good, and you just sound like you, and that's enough.

Thinking of seeing this again when it returns to Kingston later this year but of course the prices have now risen somewhat. Also just announced, a few dates for Guildford (Guildford - ye gods!), but as booking only opens today, I can't see times/prices.

Saw this last night. SENSATIONAL. The source material and music and lyrics are GENIUS. This will go far! Better than anything I saw on Broadway three weeks ago. I shall return! What a show.

This definitely looks like a Britain's Got Talent performance to me, I can't see them cancelling for anything else.

Wow, what great exposure for the show that will be. The Oliviers routine again, please!

The Queens were at the Build Studios yesterday, I was lucky enough to be in the audience and it was great fun! Bit awks when they had to promo the tour and the presenter presumed they were all doing the tour (I'm guessing, unless they want to do the tour they'll still be in the London production or going on to other things) but apart from that it was a fab interview.

This is great in terms of the promotional opportunity but it absolutely sucks for the public that have bought tickets for the cancelled show and won’t be able to reschedule. I saw on twitter someone who’d booked front row with 6 friends months in advance and was the only date they could do. People these last few days have been legit talking about the treatment of West End performers, but what about the treatment of the paying public also?! Could they not have gotten some covers for both performances to fill in?
Also fingers crossed the promotion goes well if it is a performance. 😍 I worry that people just don’t get the show based on a one off number, and it’s going to get slaughtered on twitter again like after the One Show appearance 😬

No matter what show performs on the TV, you're gonna have people moaning and slating them, that's just the way it is. Not everyone likes musicals, and no matter how good we think a show is they'll find something bad to say about it. This has to be a MASSIVE opportunity for them to decide to cancel/alter performances, they wouldn't do it otherwise.

It does suck if people have booked tickets but this can happen for events like this or Royal Variety etc.
I don't think the tour casting has been announced yet has it?

I don't think the tour casting has been announced yet has it? Nope, not yet! I'd imagine the tour cast will be announced at some point in July, August at the latest, as they should start rehearsals late Aug/early Sept.

^Must Be BGT...massive audience of potential ticket-buyers.As someone who has made a good living out of the Arts,I am aware that what we are dealing with is a business...showbusiness! BGT live shows are big ratings winners, but having said that I am genuinely gutted for those who have travel plans, hotel bookings etc ruined.Would be a nice gesture, although probably not a legal obligation,to offer free tickets, refunds, free merch or something for the few hundred people who are upset by this change of plans.

Oh for sure but with this show, as with what happened with the The One Show performance, if you don’t pick the right song to showcase the show, everyone will be all “wtf did I just watch” .... because honestly, from someone who loves the show, if I’d have only seen that performance and not the show itself I’d probably have felt the same.

I was just watching an interview with the queens on AOLBuild Series and they talked about how *they* will go on the tour. Will the show at the Arts close or will there be a new cast? I thought this was an open ended run in London.

I thought this was an open ended run in London. it'll be a different cast, the presenter wasn't clued up on the fact the show will still be in London and it felt too awkward for them to correct him once he'd said it.

Great to see the costume designer; Gabriella Slade, has just done all of the costumes for the Spice Girls' tour! Amazing

Good performance, but for me it just doesn't work out of context. Anyone else feel the same?

That performance was the best the girls have done on tv so far in my opinion! Utter perfection!
Just a shame to see the racist trolls on Twitter, hope none of them are exposed to the nastiness, they should be proud of themselves!
