Have you heard of the MMBF trust? No me neither, but this funded trust for 'filmmakers and actors' has just announced Stephen Yaxely Lennon aka know as Tommy Robisnson as a 'Goodwill ambassador'.
If you have twitter please put pressure on them and show that the theatre community is all embracing.

Is Tommy Robinson blissfully unaware that Matthew Martino (the MM in MMBF) is a black immigrant from Zimbabwe, or...?

Is Tommy Robinson blissfully unaware I think it's fair to stop at that point and just say "yes".

"He is perhaps most known for being a correspondent for The Rebel Media"
It's a good job they qualified that statement with "perhaps" because if you'd asked me what Tommy Robinson is most known for, I would have gone with "most known for being a massive racist and a disgrace to humanity". Or something.

He is actually a national hero. He is often the only reporter outside the court of child grooming rape gangs. No feminists or left wingers in sight confronting child groomers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the reason we have courts because we have a justice system that is somewhat more rigorous and effective than a bunch of people of dubious morality standing outside a building having a bit of a shout? Isn't someone "confronting" a criminal outside a court after they've already been taken to court less national hero and more that kid that stands behind the bigger kid, going "yeahhh!" rather than doing anything themselves?

The justice system was not rigorous enough to stop 1400 children being sexually assaulted and raped by gangs in Rotherham over 15 years. link

No, what he actually did was harass defendants during a trial and almost put a safe conviction at such risk the possibility of trials being thrown out loomed.
Some hero, eh?
Is this what we have become in 2017 that our 'heroes' are convicted football hooligans, alleged woman beaters, mortgage fraudsters, Police assaulters, passport forgers and general rabble rousers aspiring to start a race war?

Great hero to pick, the one who doesn't actually do anything, just keeps back shouting "something must be done!" while the police and legal system actually do the work to take the criminals down in a way that is actually thorough enough to... well, stand up in court. No, they didn't move quickly or efficiently enough in this case, there's no denying that, but chucking a hate-preacher into the mix didn't exactly speed things up or save any kids either.

Watch his speech to the Oxford Union and you may change your opinion about him. Strange that you condemn him yet do not write anything the many rapist gangs.
The police and left wing councils ignored this scandal for 15 years. It was news reporters and mainly The Times Newspaper that uncovered the scandal.

Those poor children are the best thing to ever happen to Yaxely Lennon.
It has allowed him to develop a career around his Islamaphobia and he has found a willing and uneducated audience on social media too.

He was saying similar things long before this particular national scandal was exposed.

Wow, now that is prejudice. You are even blaming him for that.

Seriously, I'm putting you on ignore because I don't waste my time on people who shouldn't have the vote for X Factor, never mind the general election.
You are so unrepresentative of the theatre community I suggest you re-consider whether you should attend another production ever again.

It was PC beliefs that stopped proper investigations into `gangs raping children`! Why are you more offended by Tommy Robinson or my agreeing with him, than the abhorrent crimes of Rotherham and another 30 towns in the UK ? Or the misogyny and anti lbgt of Islam ? My last comment on this topic. Half of all Muslims in the UK think homosexuality should be illegal. The Guardian

And in the process of one trial was arrested and later convicted for contempt of court... Slightly confusing that you seem to be critical of trial by media in the other thread but don't have an issue with it in this context. They shouldn't be being 'confronted' by people outside of court, we have a presumption of innocence and the right to a fair trial for a reason.

I'm no stats expert by a long shot, but I reckon if you polled a lot very devout Christians you'd probably get similar results, given that the extremes of belief in any snapshot tend to skew the curve somewhat. And also that homophobia isn't particularly confined to one religion.
