They also posted this... which are the shoes used in Sex is in The Heel for Kinky Boots so the assumption is it is that number for the Oliviers! I hope so, it is one of the best in the show!

It's possible they are doing are mixing a few together for Kinky Boots. I saw a tweet the other day that they were learning the extra bits added for the Oliviers performance and Jerry has been in to put it together with them. So it's for sure not just a standard performance of one of the songs/scenes, it's something a bit different.

I'm guessing Matt will only appear as one gender tho? Because of how much time the makeup and stuff takes, but I have been proven wrong before haha

Michael Xavier has had to pull out of presenting the Piazza performances. Wonder who'll take his place at such short notice?

I am attending this evening
I am worried if BILB does not win anything I shall vomit and not know how to behave
May throw tomatoes
It will be so bad for them
Keeping my fingers crossed and am having my outfit steam pressed now

That does indeed look like they are doing Sex is in The Heel... maybe performed with Step One or Soul of a Man? Show off both leading men?

*TheatreBoard Olivier Awards 2016 Live Chat*
You will now notice a live chat facility at the bottom of pages. This is available from now until shortly after the end of the televised highlights tonight. This should make chat and commentary easier and more instant and we have also enabled this for non members to take part in. If you do not wish to use this function you of course can continue to follow and post in the thread.

How the Tonys seem to get competent presenters and not the Oliviers is beyond me.

I'm scared to watch it on ITV2 later as I'll just get annoyed at what a shambles it is.

I'm scared to watch it on ITV2 later as I'll just get annoyed at what a shambles it is. It's been a shambles every year it's returned to TV. It's clear that it needs the people who do the Tonys, Brits, NTA etc to make it television friendly.

Well i'd ask who else we can get? America have such an array of people who are popular, well known and could do an amazing job. We are a bit more limited. I actually thought Carrie Hope Fletcher did a really good job hosting the Piazza event but she's probably not suited to the main role.

Thought it was a nice touch to have actors from the 4 Best New Play nominees to come and explain a little about the show and present clips, too.

Well I thought that the Play That Goes Wrong "Best performance in a Sequel" skit was absolutely hilarious - and that was just from listening to it on the radio! Really hope it makes the ITV Highlights cut.

I really liked Ben Forster's Phantom too! What a pleasant surprise. And Emmy is fantastic. But I already knew that.
