I know there are numerous fan accounts out there on twitter, lots seem well run and are even supported by the actor in question - if I remember correctly, Rachel Tucker announced her return to Oz when she joined Wicked on Broadway via her fan account. Perhaps more so in Wicked there seem to be accounts for every performer tweeting how amazing they were, or how well they twirled a ribbon in a particular show... but there’s a new fan account been set-up that I’ve seen this morning to support Suzie Mathers and her girlfriend!!! Not in a show... just to support them in general! mobile.twitter.com/S_L_FansiteWhen does a fan account go from being mildly cutsie and supportive to borderline stalking!?

Oh, you haven't even scratched the surface of the weirdness yet! Wait till you come across the ones who are convinced people who are married to other people are actually in a secret (usually gay) relationship.
I will never understand why people get so invested in other people's relationships. Even as a teenage boyband fan I didn't get why people thought telling me my fave band member was gay/had a girlfriend would upset me - I wasn't expecting to ever meet them, what difference did it make to me?! But people really do get super emotionally invested in this stuff...

Larry Stylinson springs to mind. The name coined by One Direction fans who are convinced Louis and Harry are having a secret relationship and they do fan art and fan fiction on it.

As the owner of a couple of fan accounts I haven't to my knowledge come across one I follow on twitter that's done by the actor/actress. But in all fairness I don't follow that many. I find a lot of abandoned pages. When I set up one for Danny Whitehead I found an abandoned one for him and his boyfriend when they were on the Wicked UK tour a couple of years ago.

I follow a not very well-known actor who's a mate of a mate and he has some fan who creates dozens and dozens of accounts, just to tweet to him. No idea why. He's not blocking them or anything. She also sends him a lot of tweets about nappies, when he's a childless guy in his 20s. I don't know, fans can be weird.
