The fruits of my labours this weekend. I don’t usually do programmes because they’re rubbish value for something you file away and ignore. I’m a fool for a magnet though, and couldn’t help noticing the far superior quality of the Young Frankenstein offering. Look at the thickness of that deluxe perspex finish.   There was very little on offer at Follies, a magnet with that artwork on it would have been lovely. I have been known to create my own using one of those websites. Told you I was a fool... |

Wow @burlybear that Young Frankenstein magnet is the mother of all souvenir magnets.
I like a nice handbill myself , they look good framed , the fold out half sized ones aren’t as good somehow , lots of information but not as good to frame .

Nice init? A travesty that they were the same price at a fiver. I could just about be ok with a fiver for a magnet if they were all of the YF standard but selling that TA one for a fiver is a disgrace frankly.
I agree, if something can be displayed it’s a win, especially if it’s free. Hard to put a souvenir programme in a frame though eh.
There are a lot of mugs around which look to all come from the same manufacturer. And there’s a bloke on eBay who has a magnet for almost every show, he obviously knocks them together himself because they’re all identical. I’m not going to advertise him because he’s a rip off!

I am forever wishing that we had Playbill over here. I have a great collection for shows in New York. They look great and contain the information you need FOR FREE!

Hmm, I think the Playbills are paid for by the extra 10-20 bucks that are shoved on the average ticket price in NYC, but I can't see why the average show in London can't include a programme (unless you've paid £10-15 for a Travelex type ticket)

I too collect magnets from the shows that I seen- not everyone, as some shows may appeal more that others, but most.

I got a magnet at Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Broadway. It's nice. And thick. We were actually looking for an actual Wonka chocolate bar but this is what we got.  |

Some one who has seen it will have to confirm it as fact, but I understand that all tickets for Five Guys Named Moe "include a souvenir programme worth £10". As the cheapest seats are only £10, that seems like a good deal.

May I ask a favour which is merchandise related?
As I'm not in London as much as I would like, would someone mind mentioning in this topic from time to time which shows in the WE sell posters?
I was there last week and it seems a bit random which ones do (eg Venus in Fur, Labour of Love) and which ones don't (eg Oslo, Ink).

Posters are pretty standard for whatever's on at the Donmar & The Menier, and not unheard of at the Old Vic & the National. They're certainly available at Wicked & Les Mis, and I suspect a good few other of the big musicals. Good old Dress Circle has 13 pages of results full of posters. The Menier has an online merch store. |

Managed to stumble upon playbill stores which obviously do the merchandise for a few shows shop.playbill.co.uk/ most shows they have there seem to have posters. Also spotted an interesting looking making of the Les Miserables film book, won't buy it but I didn't know it existed. |

My favourite bit of show merchandise was (and is) a pen that, when the special button was pressed, projected the Wicked the Musical logo onto the nearest surface.
Oh the hours of fun that it has given me!
Closely followed by my supercalifragilisticexpialidocious bag.
