Your full typing of the words W*#@+*&£#@%¥XE seems to have slipped through our sophisticated rude word obliteration software. I shall put a call in to the engine room immediately.

It's gonna be 2014 all over again. Miss Saigon won everything, Hamilton will this year.

As one of those in the hinterland who has seen it, I have already nominated Cilla as best new musical. It has to be.

Does anyone know if the Awards have sold out? I was thinking of going and there were quite of lot of tickets left when I checked the other day, but now the DM website is saying there are no tickets available?

I've just done my nominations. I voted based on the shows I have seen only and only three shows I have seen got multiple from me. Yank with two nominations, An American in Paris with three nominations and 42nd Street with seven. Every other catagory are from different shows.

One issue I did have, this poster catagory. Firstly, it is a stupid catagory to have because you could literally vote for any show in London. But also, every snow has like 6 posters, so how can they ecen know which of the posters you mean? Its such an odd catagory to have!

Personally I absolutely loved the Angels in America poster - so evocative. The NT usually always do great posters though - as seen at their current exhibition.Agreed. I voted for the 'Saint George and the Dragon' one!

I voted 42nd Street, I love the poster of the cast lined up either side of the title. Fabulous!

I voted 42nd Street, I love the poster of the cast lined up either side of the title. Fabulous! See, now that's a great poster but is it what they would call the show's poster? Like you say it's tricky. Is that poster the one that they sell in the theatre? No. They sell the one which is the same as the programme with a woman duplicated many times onto stairs below wearing a costume that isn't even in the show. If they sold the one you are talking about I would have bought it but there's no way I am buying the other one. So like you say, a complicated category.

I also made an active effort to vote for the shows that really did deserve the awards rather than just my favorites. Some do match though obviously. But with awards like Choreography, I gave it to 42nd Street as the choreographer for American in Paris also directed, and that is very clear to me with that show, so I gsve them director. Also with set, I gave 42nd Street set and then American in Paris video design as their set ws beautiful but it was mostly projection where 42nd Street's set is stunning! The musical performanes were the toughest as to who to bump out and put in.

Actually I quite like the catagory I think it's a great idea because it might persuade theatres to up their game, which has certainly slipped in recent years as the NT's show inadvertently highlighted. I didn't see the production - too far away - but Locker Room Talk seems to have had the most striking one this year.

What a mixed bag. Happy to see 42nd Street get so many, as well as Jamie. Also happy for Natalie Dormer, Yank, Zoe Rainey and some others. But Chris Howell getting nominated, especially over Stuart Neal is a joke, especially for that role.
The poster and Cast Recording ones went tits up, people voted for the original Les Mis recording, and Cats got nominated for poster! But that was to be expected! And no Imelda for Follies, I'm surprised. But Audra should of been in there somewhere, but you win some, you lose some.

Not really sure how they can class Clare Halse as only having a supporting role in 42nd Street. Really pleased that Lucie Shorthouse has got a nomination in the same category for Everybody's Talking About Jamie though.

They class her as that as 42nd Street class her as that themselves.
Watch Take That fans organise themselves and get The Band two award wins!

Great to see so many nominations for 42nd Street. AAIP didn't fare so well though. Had Jamie even opened when the shortlist was done?

Was The Girls not eligible or had everyone just forgotten about it? I do wonder if the Nominations are done based on number or time nominated or if they pull from the selection.
