I was surprised not to find a thread already open on this!
I recently joined the Stranger Things fanbase and I am really loving it so far! I thought as Season 2 is beginning it was a good time to open this one up for discussion.

Been watching around 3 eps a day since Fri, so 6 down with 3 to go. Absolutely bloody LOVING it & I'm so happy that it's really, really lived up to its hype. Brilliant writing and the child acting is phenomenal. Cannot wait to see where the last 3 episodes go, I've been gasping out loud so far!

I haven't seen it yet. I'm happy to hear that people think it's as good- so far everyone tells me it's good but Season 1 is better.

Finished it last night, a real nostalgia fest at the end for those who were around at the time. I thought it was just as good as the first series and they've hit on some really good, and unexpected, character relationships. I'm thinking that the newly introduced brother and sister are going to be important to the next season but you never know.
This has been a really excellent year for US television, for me Twin Peaks stands at the top, just above this, The Leftovers, The Handmaid's Tale and Westworld (my tastes veer towards the fantastical as you can see).
