Which bits were the audience singing along to? I couldn’t even tell from the video

Yes, I don’t see anyone singing. Or are they not allowed to sing in belty bits?

Olivia sounds great, interesting audience reaction Interesting good or interesting bad? Just interesting. I saw somewhere on Twitter that only some bits were singalong but there weren't many details, would be interested to know more about how it worked

Found on facebook these were the songs that had singalong bits:
Beautiful Candy Store “Holy sh*t!” - I suppose they just sung along to the Holy sh*ts in Fight For Me? Candy Store Playoff Big Fun Never Shut Up Again (sorry but as if anyone would know the lyrics to that) My Dead Gay Son Seventeen Hey Yo Westerberg (the cheerleaders’ chant) Seventeen Reprise
Obviously none the wiser as to which bits of each song they were allowed to join in with.

Earlier today they posted a document on the website with details heathersthemusical.com/about-and-reviews/and they were handing copies out in the theatre. For parts where the audience were allowed to sing, the house lights were brought up a bit, so that people could actually read the lyrics if they needed them/check which parts they were allowed to sing. I was apprehensive about going, but as soon as I knew Olivia was going to be on, I hoped it would be worth it (prefer her to Carrie, and Carrie was really struggling on Saturday so I think the right decision for her). As could be expected with the more ‘relaxed’ atmosphere, the screaming did get a bit much. Normally Heathers audiences are good at keeping the screaming and cheering to the ends of songs or iconic lines/moments (at least the ones I’ve been part of!) but tonight people were just screaming at everything, regardless of if it meant screaming over lines (spoken or sung). That part got quite tedious, the singing part was good fun!

Sophie, how did Jamie sound last night? Because his voice was wavering a bit on Monday (never heard him in anything but perfect voice before) I still haven't got to see Olivia, but I'm going again tomorrow (matinee) so I wonder if Carrie will still be off.
From what she's been posting on Twitter (including photos of all the new medication she's been prescribed) she's still really unwell (there was one tiny moment on Monday where a note was slightly off, but she's been performing amazingly in the circumstances.

He sounded his usual self. There was one moment part way through Freeze Your Brain (I think) where his voice broke slightly on one word but that could have been caused by anything as the rest of the time his vocals were as good as normal! Sounds like Carrie sounded better on Monday than she did on Saturday night, as there were a fair few dodgy notes during that performance. To someone who hadn’t seen the show before she might have sounded amazing but to someone who has seen it far too many times, it was really noticeable that she was struggling.

Oh good, because his performance wasn't quite as usual on Monday (still wonderful though!) Yes, Carrie sounded great during practically all of Monday's performance, her slight waver was like "blink and you'll miss it!"

Considering she's been diagnosed with tonsillitis you wonder if he's been in danger of catching it from her?
She has a lot of love for the show & sounds heartbroken having to miss shows, but as someone on here said, from her posts it looks like she's really unwell & could probably do with taking a week off to properly get well again.
The few times I've had tonsillitis I could barely speak let alone belt out songs in a West End show night after night!

MTA's twitter page is rumouring Heathers is to return in 2019.
I'd like to offer up a solid 'no thanks' to that one.

Cause the show irritates me love. I had a great time when I saw it, and the further away from it I've come, the more it's annoyed me. Mostly the PR company for a lot of reasons, but I got other issues too. Glad some people love it, just not one for me - so I'd rather we had something else

Normally I'm a live and let live kinda girl (Mama Mia can run FOREVER if it wishes as long as i don't have to see it) but this show REALLY irritates me the more i think about it. The 'message' is all kinds of f***ed up and there's no satisfying resolution as far as story and musical go either. Add to that the ubiquity of it and I could really really live without.

I’d love for it to return, I really think it should tour because the set really isn’t West End standard. To be honest yes it does give out some questionable messages but I wouldn’t say it’s as problematic as something like Book of Mormon (I like BOM too I’m just saying that’s probably more morally questionable than Heathers). I just see it as a bit of fun, you don’t have to concentrate too hard, it’s pretty funny and it has a pretty decent score.

How is it ubiquitous? You hardly hide yourself from it Emi! If we go on MT message boards or follow it’s cast on social media we’re going to encounter it’s presence...😬 it is being marketed angressively at exactly the sort of theatregoer that can (thinks of delicate wording) aggravate, so it’s bound to rub us up the wrong way a bit. I think that their day-glo cash grab has been hilarious. x

Besides doesn't Carrie need something else to vlog about by now?!! (you know i love her)!

I suspect she might be planning an ‘ITV2 show/youtube channel/video on bebo’ based around her tonsillitis diagnosis and a countdown clock to the start of ‘War of the Worlds’. Will she be able to pull off her eight minutes of stage time and one ropey song and a spinny stage illusion? The stakes are high (approximately 8mm).

There's no way I'm seeing this again, unless they keep Muscato (CHF can stay too) AND cast three new Heathers that don't suck.
ETA: oh, AND if it's an off-West End venue that doesn't charge 50 pounds for a seat in the stalls.

I say yes please!! Shame to see so much hate on this board for this show. I didn't hate the show. Actually I had listened to the off-Broadway recording prior to seeing it and I quite liked it. It's the London cast that I hated (with a couple exceptions).

I would think it’s more likely to tour than return to the West End
