When? Where? I'd go and see it again (although it could do with a bit of chopping). I still think they should perform it at the Beck Theatre unless there's a theatre actually in UB2.

Does 'Bend It...' help? Maybe Could be What's it about? This totally bypassed me. Does he act in it? Apparently he's in a film now.

What do these squares mean? Are they "good" like stars? Or "bad", like black holes? And can I type them on a traditionally laid-out keyboard which doesn't show them as an option?

Bring it back to The Phoenix...where shows go to die a painful and agonizing death It died once, bringing it back just to watch* it die again would be an act of cruelty. * - not that anyone would actually be watching the notorious flop

Perhaps Gurinder should smash two coconuts this time, for twice as much luck.

In all seriousness, if they made extensive changes, it could be good. Not great, but good.
God loves a trier!

I'd be surprised if it didn't tour. It would do well booked for a few weeks in theatres where there's a large local Asian community, for instance Birmingham and Bradford.

It's very built around local communities, rather than being a big city where everyone goes into the centre. I still think of West End theatres as mainly catering for tourists. With that said, when I saw BILB near the start of the run, there was a large Asian presence. I particularly remember someone in front of me who was arranging coach trips and sounded like he was having some success (I remember him more from being annoying, staying quiet during the dialogue, but chatting during the boring bits - the songs, but there you go). I also saw it close to closing and it was quiet all round. I saw Anita and Me at the Birmingham Rep last year and that had an Asian majority audience in, so there are shows that pull people in. Limited runs in each city for BILB, with the right marketing, could do well. The show does need a few minutes trimming off, but I enjoyed it.

Was it "Parsley Coach Tours".
