I'm praying Jenna Russell has a night off from Albert Square.

Seriously? This is on in less than three weeks and we dont know who is performing! Such a joke, it had better be bloody good.

Tweet from Julian Ovenden; “More Sondheim to follow in March” I've now got everything crossed for the lovely Julian. Oh what tedious casting that is. Why don’t you throw in Kim Criswell, Tim Flavin, Daniel Evans and maybe Sally Ann Triplett and you’ve got the tedious line up of nearly every London Sondheim concert

Ooh Liz Callaway is exciting Forster isn't.... He's the price to pay, I'm very excited about the others. I was starting to fear it would have been Michael Xavier and Louise Dearman

I agree Liz Callaway is quite exciting....I'd definitely consider this if I didn't already have Hamilton booked that evening!

That is a pretty great line up of talent. I'm looking forward to this now, and the tickets were cheap too.
ENO/Chess take note.

Oh, that's just Julian's stunt double - does all the high notes for him. Maybe that's why Three Tall Women has had to cancel? He still hasn't returned the stilts he borrowed.

I can only say that the last big Sondheim concert I went to at the RFH with the BBC Concert Orchestra as recorded for radio and was played on a later date. There was nothing on the website to say it was being recorded but they made an announcement at the start, so hopefully this will be the same.

As there’s quite a few of us going, shall we arrange to have a theatreboard meet-and-drink beforehand?
