I tend to think British critics talk a load of nonsense and give 5* to most things West End and save their bad reviews to sh*t on fringe theatre, so I'll just stick to the Broadway stuff.
According to the critics scores on Show-Score.com, the best Broadway shows from the last two seasons still running on Broadway are:
Hamilton - 95 Dear Evan Hansen - 88 Hello, Dolly! - 85 Indecent - 84 The Little Foxes - 84 Oslo - 84 Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 - 81 Sweat - 80 Present Laughter - 79 Come From Away - 77 The Play That Goes Wrong - 76 Waitress - 75 On Your Feet! - 74 School of Rock: The Musical - 74 The Price - 72 Sunset Boulevard - 72 Groundhog Day - 70 War Paint - 68 Cats - 66 A Bronx Tale - 64 Miss Saigon - 63 The Glass Menagerie - 60 Amélie - 55
There are still shows left to have their reviews come in such as Anastasia, A Doll's House, Part 2, Six Degrees of Separation, Bandstand and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

What shows should I see? Seen Hamilton Fun Home, Color Purple all of which I enjoyed immensely. Thought She Loves Me, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables were badly written and not very good. I thought Book of Mormon well written but very cliche. And thought everything about Curious Dog but the book was good. Really hated Legally Blonde and Wicked but Mary Poppins was excellent. Also enjoyed Billy Elliot, South Pacific. So what should I see?

Luckily, in the West End I think that audience get to decide what's a hit and what isn't. On Broadway, the press has the tendency to seal the fate of shows with their reviews.

It's going to annoy me if I don't update the list with the last shows of the season to open:
