I'm seeing the same message tonight without even trying the AMEX route. I only wanted to check dates I could do when booking opens tomorrow - not a problem for Oslo, just for this. Hopefully they'll realise before 8.30 tomorrow...

Nice and easy this morning for this - managed to get the last seat in the house on the day I booked my EntryPass ticket for for the mother (because it was heavily implied that if I didn't take her to see the Olivias I would be disinherited).

Lucky you Squire S - my iPad cached so I kept getting the error message. By the time I got in, there were very few seats left and nothing I wanted. Ah well - there's always Friday Rush. And I did manage to nab a £15 seat for Oslo so it wasn't a total loss...

I'm still looking for tickets! Friday Rush difficult alas because of the travelling. It's definitely worth checking the site regularly, because in the past few weeks quite a few tickets have popped up. I would guess that I've seen about a dozen seats in total while I've been checking. They have been a mix of single seats as well as small groups, and the dates are obviously scattered, but if you're flexible or going alone then you might get lucky. Presumably returns will pop up more regularly as we get closer to the dates. One thing to bear in mind is that on the dates page www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/shows/mosquitoes-whats-on-listing they don't update/remove the text at the top that says "Mosquitoes is now sold out" when returns pop up. I've generally found the easiest thing to do is to search for the phrase 'book now' which will come up with nothing if there aren't any tickets, or will take you straight to the specific day(s) if there are. Good luck. Hope you manage to get tickets somehow.

Thanks for the info - it's ages since I've been to the NT. I'll keep checking the page (will it show in what are currently the 'sold out' boxes when I scroll down? I haven't used this system before!)

Yes, when you scroll down any dates with available tickets will have a "book now" box Also - if any dates have seats available there should be a box on the left hand side so you can filter the list and only see available performances. Have a look at www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/shows/barber-shop-chronicles/whats-on and you should see this. Also bear in mind its not unusual at all for a whole bunch of tickets to appear closer to opening night once they've sorted out staging. For instance "The Flick" was sold out in the Dorfmann for ages then suddenly lots of seats showed up. I'm sure someone will point out here when / if that happens!

Oh they don't hang around - plus there is little rhyme or reason as to when they are posted.

Yes, I've just rung them up, and they said it could be anytime, but more pop up closer to the start of the run. They couldn't give me any info on any possible NT Live broadcast either - do they do them from the Dorfman?

Thanks for the tips - I think I've just managed to bag a preview ticket! Two popped up but I managed to get one, the other also sold immediately (hello, if it's to anyone on here!)

There's a Firefox addon 'Update Scanner' that gives you a popup whenever a website is updated, I always use it when I'm tracking theatre sites for returns.

Seats available now by the way I got one thanks! Had a job trying to checkout though - some glitch with my address, though I already have an account - ended up having to ring the box office who were very patient with me!

I was planning to put my basic programming skills to write something that would notify me when tickets for "Angels..." are available for a specific day (I'm not from London). I will check this addon!

Btw, the full cast now includes Joseph Quinn, a great young actor I've been badgering friends to go and see for the last year and a bit now (he reminds me by turns of some of my favourite 60s/70s young British actors, which bodes well!). I presume he's playing Olivia Williams' character's son.

Anyone saw tickets being returned for this yet? Or should I just wait until closer to the date that interests me?

Anyone saw tickets being returned for this yet? Or should I just wait until closer to the date that interests me? Tickets have been returned and put back on sale online pretty regularly. There's no pattern in terms of when they go up (see the older posts here for some idea, as there are occasional notifications about tickets) but if you're able it's probably worth checking the NT website every so often, as the tickets tend to disappear pretty quickly each time. I suppose more will go up closer to the time, as people may hold out for now if they're not sure, plus you'll get the Friday Rush tickets.
