Correct me if I am wrong, but don't we only know for sure of one pwrson who is leaving, that being Amber? So theres no point being sad if the others may be staying! And even then, knowing what is gonna happen afterward, I'm half and half happy and sad Amber will leave. ππ I don't generally get sad at anyone leaving any show. I go to cast change shows because they are the last opportunity to see someone who I think is very good in a particular role, nothing more than that. And in any event people are entitled to be sad about whatever they want, it's not for you to decide that people can't be sad about just Amber leaving.

We can't be sad about performers leaving if no one knows if they are leaving YET. It won't let me go back to edit it. And like I said, Amber is amazing in the role, and it will be sad to see her go. I'm just going to her final performance in the hope its going to bw an amazing show and atmosphere, which no doubt it will be like the other 3 times I've seen it! Also, slightly tempted to go and see Karen now, just to say I've seen all three.

Goodness. The drama.
Here's a little story that should make you cry About two unhappy dames Let us call them Marisha X and Amber Y Which are not their real names . . . .

Perhaps we should change the name of the thread until the 19th of November.
Dreamgirls - Amber's last night is the 18th of November. Other people may be leaving. We can't guarantee anyone will be performing on any date.

Cant make the 18th anyway. Destined never to see Dreamgirls. Was going to try to fit that in but maybe I will find another date. Bizarrely not bothered who I see but seeing what the hype was about appealed.

And by bumped do you mean followed her round the West End?! π @ryan lead me that way, we were heading to wine o'clock! He practically accosted her on the street. "Marisha! MARISHA!!!" he cried as he dived across the road toward her, zig-zagging through oncoming traffic as he launched at her singing "IIIIIIIII AAAAAAAAAAAm Chaaaaaa-ngiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing". The look of complete terror on that poor girl's face is one I shall never forget. Note: Some of the events may have been enhanced for dramatic effect. I can't be sure that it was 'I Am Changing' that he sang to her. The rest is however no word of a lie. And if I am telling fibs, may Andrew Lloyd Webber strike me down and may 'Wicked' close next week.

Bizarrely not bothered who I see but seeing what the hype was about appealed. If you cant see it before Amber leaves, still go and see it. Its a dazzling show and taking casting out of it, the score is fantastic and the staging is quite something to behold. I think that any of the girls playing the lead role (haven't seen Karen yet, but based on word of mouth), you're in safe hands. And I'm sure whomever stays with the show or whomever takes over that role, the producers know what they are doing!

I must admit, I did get ever so slightly overexcited haha, but I waited until she crossed the road, chatted to her and thankfully she is the kind of person who accepts the crazy and goes with it. π
π
I mean, she's done stage door here, and also on Broadway. I'm sure I'm not on par with some of the crazies! Here was our conversation (pretty much, I'm paraphrasing): D: Hi Marisha, are you on? M: No I'm not. D: Aww you're the only Effie I've seen. M: Aww you'll get to see Amber, she's fab! D: Aww I'm so excited! Are you staying another year? M: You'll have to wait and see *wink, THERE WAS DEFINITELY A WINK!!* D: Have a lovely night! M: You too babe! R: Can we go have some wine at the gay bar now??

Yet you're calling Miranda fans for trying to do the same, in the Annie thread. Pot and kettle, Daniel

Yet you're calling Miranda fans for trying to do the same, in the Annie thread. Pot and kettle, Daniel I'm not bugging someone going into work, or lurking around their place or work just to bother them. We literally crossed paths and myself and another board member were wondering who was on, I saw Marisha so why wouldn't I just ask her to save the discussion? I wasn't interested in a photo or autograph, or to have a long winded conversation, i pretty much asked her a question and I was the one who ended it! π

If anything its more acceptable to acost someone at the stage door, where they know they get crazy, rather than someone come up to them in the street im their own downtime.

OK, let's be entirely fair to danieljohnson14 here. He didn't accost her at all. They did literally bump into each other as she walked in front of him. He said hello (they had met before and she remembered) and he asked if she was on that evening as he was going to see the show in about an hour or two. She said no, he said bye. They both went their separate ways. She was very friendly. He wasn't "stage dooring" her in the slightest. No animals were harmed in the making of that show.

I'm so glad Asmeret is staying, she's so funny. Can't wait to see her again! Glad we're getting a new Deena too to freshen things up.

I'm surprised the talk of Broadway has seemed to of quietened down now. I've heard there has been some apprehension due to Amber's attendance in London as it is a bigger deal in New York as they can lose alot of money if her name is used to sell the show! I hope this isn't the case, as she has obviously had this be her dream for the longest time. I'm sure we'll see it pan out at some point in 2018. I hppe we do!

It is remarkably easy to 'randomly bump' into someone if you have placed a tracking device in the hood of their duffel coat. Did you check the apps on his phone? ππ
