Well I've had a brilliant day. Spent 30 mins in garden before tripping over my own feet, catching a foot on an outside light, slipping on some posts we'd just had delivered and crashing about 10" onto the patio shattering my right elbow. Nearly 4 hours in A & E, need to have an operation to repair it but they couldn't fit me in today so am now home sporting a very fetching backslab from wrist to shoulder. Hopefully, they can do it tomorrow but I have to get there about 8:30 and just wait..! Goodness glossie, sounds nasty. Hope you feel better. Every cloud has a silver lining though so if they're holding auditions for 'Dear Evan Hanson' you'll no doubt be cast. I thank you. |

Heavy date with the dentist this morning, just about defrosted. Back again in two weeks for another bill, er.. appointment. Upside is he managed to avoid the nerve, so am saved from the pain and penury of root canal and a crown. In other news... three theatre tickets booked (Girl from the North Country, The Ferryman & Sunday in the Park etc) and Friday, WOO!

Afternoon all! Thank you for your good wishes.
Back home now after 2 days in hospital. Got there at sparrow's on Thursday but kept getting bumped down by emergencies. Anyway was first on list yesterday so dis-placed fracture of top of ulna has been re-placed, wired and pinned. Apart from obvious pain (that's the woman in the bed next to me, not the elbow...)*, all went well.
*okay, elbow wrist and hand are a bit painful too ;-)

Oh, and @parsley, I do understand just how you feel. We had our bathroom done a few years ago and it was one of the most stressful experiences of my life. A friends husband did it. Boy, was that ever a mistake. Sounds very much like what you're going through.
I really hope you manage to find a resolution that at least gets you out of his clutches!

All I know is that today I had a hellish shift in work, but cant really remember much from it, thanks to good old Captain Morgan
I am currently sitting with a workmate at 3.30am watching Naked Attraction on E4...I feel I may have hit a new low in life.

Regular as clockwork. It's a bank holiday so dog has thrown her back into spasm. Let's hope my spare supplies of Tramadog work or it's going to be an expensive trip to an open doggie hospital. Right. That's me calmed down. Now for the dog........ |

Tried to intimidate my sister in the street
Buzzed my intercom for 45 mins
And then verbally abused my neighbour
Police called etc
Feel sick and would rather my flat burnt down than endure this misery
