I got locked out of my account kimbahorel because it is connected to an email that I deleted and now can't cant log into it because I had auto log in and forgot my password. But oddly the issues I had in this one was I couldn't log and couldn't change my screen name. But managed both. I spent a day doing the password change of everything and realising it is a pain to change passwords esp on google. Trying not to think about work tomorrow because I am super paranoid about having to manage the door of my shop and not get abused.

Just back from a lovely week in Devon. Got trains everywhere which were empty, though Devon was fairly busy! Was nice to get back to doing something more normal again. Everyone was making an effort to be safe and i didn't have any worries at all.

Have just gone to order something online and the options in my drop down for title included baron, count, Earl, princess - I may be shopping way beyond my means and social standing.

Hotel Chocolat Chocolate Tasting Club day today!
First thing out of the box: a 115g pack of milk chocolate puddles. Best before 03/2021, it optimistically says on the back, as if there's actually a chance they'll last more than half an hour.

Hotel Chocolat Chocolate Tasting Club day today! I almost got a job managing one of their shops a while back. Probably as well I didn't as I may have been a tad overweight by now! Enjoy the chocolate!

BA does that when booking an airline ticket, too. I always wondered what would happen if I chose one... would they require proof? Do they treat you any differently?

I did for a moment consider selecting one. Makes me think they have customers who kick off if they are not able to select their correct address.

If you select Baron they make you fly your own Fokker triplane. (As a child one of my favourite toys was a die-cast Fokker Dr.I triplane.)

Walking home last night I was fortunate to catch the stunning pink sunset over London. For once I haven't edited or put a filter on the picture

Redundancies starting to hit amongst my friends who are planning on selling up and moving somewhere smaller and cheaper, I don't live near (possible to meet in a day) many of my friends so the few I do moving has hit and I'm feeling rather flat, wondering if my future is just going to get more and more isolating.

Getting pretty dire on the jobs front. I find out next week if I keep my job and and just gotta feel optimistic. So many lives ripped apart.

Makes me think they have customers who kick off if they are not able to select their correct address. I'm sure there are. The same type of entitled (ooh, that word works on two levels) person like the customer who felt they weren't getting the proper deference from a US gate agent, so demanded huffily, "Do you know who I am?" The agent promptly picked up the microphone and made an announcement... "We have a passenger at the counter suffering from amnesia... can anyone assist him?"

Been on granny duty since 8am [until 6.30pm]. Feel in need of a stiff drink. Unfortunately I don,t have any.

I've just channelled my inner BurlyBeaR, and very proud of myself I am too! There I was, casually strolling along, when out of the open window of a parked car came an empty crisp packet. Now I'm usually one of the most timid people you will ever meet, but I'm just about at the end of my tether with litter, so I scooped it up and returned it from whence it came. I'm not naive enough to think that's where it will have stayed, but revenge is always a dish best served cold. There is only one canary yellow Seat in the whole neighbourhood, so the next time I see it unoccupied, I'll slash the tyres. Don't worry, dear reader, I'm am of course joking. I would never do anything so life threateningly reckless...I'll run my keys along the paintwork instead.

I took a day off to meet up with a friend - and my most frequent theatre companion, pre-lockdown - whom I haven't seen since lockdown started (Skype excluded). Appropriately, we took ourselves for coffee and (divine!) brownies to the Court in the Square. It was just what I needed.
I bought a suitcase and on my walk home (with the suitcase happily rolling behind me) a man stopped me around UCL Institute of Neurology to ask me if I was a traveller in need of directions to King's Cross, which was totally unexpected but so kind and sweet.
I know Summer in London is short and unpredictable, but today could not have been lovelier. (I hope it lasts at least until the weekend.)

I just trod on a slug, barefoot, while wrangling some very overgrown lavender into shape.

Urgh! I can never decide if it's worse to tread on a slug or a snail, though I've at least only trodden on both while wearing shoes. The worse thing I've ever trodden on was the remains of a mouse when I was only wearing socks.

One of my cats used to bring in worms when it rained... treading on those in bare feet was what converted me to slipper wearing. Of course then I had to check for mouse remains IN the slippers...

A friend in Raleigh had a cat that used to bring SNAKES into the the house. Worms are bad enough...but snakes??? I couldn’t believe they kept the cat.

I think I'd have re-homed that cat if it were mine! When our cat died 15 years ago we couldn't get another one as my mother had developed a cat allergy. The biggest upside is definitely being able to come downstairs in the morning without wondering what might be lurking in the hall! A few years ago we got slow worms living in our compost heap. I know they're harmless but I'm terrified of all reptiles so was pleased when some rats moved in & killed the slow worms. My mother was less pleased, especially when a rat got into our house of its own volition, so pest control came & dealt with the rats, but I was very glad the rats had dealt with the slow worms first!

Oh I am sad for the slow worms now, not belittling your fear dawnstar, if you're scared your scared and i've certainly jumped on lifting up the compost top and finding a slow worm but I think they're beautiful and see them so rarely. Was once crouched down next to our pond watching the fish when I realised there was an adder sat basking in one of the baskets inches from me, I think the word there was freeze then slowly edge away.

I wouldn't say I'm too keen on snakes but often I think it's just the uncertainty of them but I saw an adder today and it was nice. It just moved out of the way into the undergrowth. I love slow worms though, they are as peggs says beautiful.
