The DC guys are still around. I quite often see them in the audience of west end musicals. He is. I once saw him at Southwark Playhouse ages ago (after the shop closed). He was a wee away or else I would have said hi. |

I too have far too many cd's, dvd's, programmes and posters but wouldn't get rid of them. I like as others have said to have the CD and not digital. The guys in Dress Circle were great and good fun to chat to. John used to be downstairs doing orders and with his help I got a lot of signed cd's. Great pity they had to go down to an online shop. The were always little gems to find hen sorting through the many racks in the shop - many I don't know had been recorded. I also buy now from "Sound of Music" shop in Germany. Lots of shows not even coming near these shores but very interesting to watch even if I have no idea they are singing - but widens the options of other countries musicals.

What other good second hand cds/books websites are there other than ebay and amazon marketplace?

Just wondering if there is anyone like me who collects cast recordings of each musical they see despite if they loved the show or not?!!  I like to have the physical CD rather than just a download too! It annoys me when a show doesn't release a cast recording as it ruins my collection a bit! I can't be the only one right?!! I realise I pretty much do it too... I tried my hardest not to be that guy. -_- I also realise I have the cast recordings for every London show I have been to see with the exception of Curious Incident (being the only London play I've seen and there isn't one) and The Threepenny Opera (although I really wanted them to release one!) - and I am definitely getting the Groundhog Day album (just can't decide whether to wait and pay more for the physical or just pre-order it on iTunes)! |

Great thanks, shall take a look at those links. Been on the look out for the "Bare - Pop Opera" cast recording but it's about £40 on amazon I think you can still get the two discs separately on iTunes for about £7.99 each - still expensive but less than £40! |

So HMV has recently reopened in my local centre so thought I'd have a look, and was pleasantly surprised to find a fairly well stocked musical section! You've got the usual compilations, but then really surprised to find current cast Recoridngs such as Dear Evan Hansen and Wind in the Willows! Not good for the wallet! But good to see!
