Going to have to give this a miss - I saw her last January and it was one of the highlights of my year, she was mesmorising. Funds are tights though - if there is a ticket left at pay day I might manage it. Her and Will though

It's not selling very well, especially condisering that the last time was sold out. It's more expensive than last year and the fact that from June you can see her in a play rather than in a concert surely won't help to fill the seats

Yes, I have booked a £25 ticket too for the Wednesday evening! Another bargain I felt, although the seat is as the back the venue is small and they wanted £70 for seats further forward. I have never seen her live so looking forward to it ... and the husband!!!!

I'd love to see her live and I'm really tempted to get the Meet&Greet tickets. Not sure if I can afford it right now, so will wait till the next payday

what's her repetoire generally like? The concert last Jan was really varied, older stuff, then her staples like Climb Evry Mountain, Maybe This Time etc.

The venue seems small, so the £25 ticket at the back must be ok?

The venue seems small, so the £25 ticket at the back must be ok? It is. And you're allowed to stand by the bar, which is much closer. Great venue.

I've booked £25 seats for this - loved her concert in this same venue a while back. Just checked and there are still tickets available including £25 ones.

Just got a VIP ticket for Thursday, 13th April and flights from Edinburgh to London. I looks at this as a "one in the lifetime" situations. I know it will be worth it! (now off to book accommodation!)

I hope you'll enjoy the concert. I checked with the box office today and they confirmed the Meet and Greet is taking place after the show. There will be a chance to get a photo with Audra and to get "one item" signed.

I was there tonight. Audra sang most of the songs she had sung last year (Stars and the Moon, Glamorous Life, the My Fair Lady sing-along, Summertime, Clim Ev'ry Mountain, Maybe This Time and the heartwrenching I'll Be There), plus three or four new entries (including Moments in the Woods, I Won't Mind and The Rose). Most of the stories and the anecdotes are recycled as well, but Audra is so talented that she could just stand there and sing Craigslist posts and be marvellous. I know it because she literally did it.
Seth Rudetsky is a funny host, full of anedoctes and fully enjoying the diva worshipper's life. Who wouldn't.
Will Swenson looks amazingly handsome and sang "I Am A Pirate King": the song probably doesn't work very well out of context, but I consider it my reward after that dull ENO production. He also sang a cute duet with Audra.
There were some nice touches that made everything look very genuine and personal (Seth couldn't find the sheet music for "Summertime" and acted surprised when Audra told him she wanted to sing it, despite of the fact that she sings that song every time she leaves the house).
It was a lovely evening, if you saw her last year it doesn't add much to that memory, but experiencing the magnitude of Audra's talent is always thrilling. The songlist is supposed to change for every performance, so if you're going this week you might get something more "original".

"You Don't Bring Me Flowers" - with Will doing his best Neil Diamond impression.
The last time I saw Audra was The Divas at the Donmar series where she probably sang twice as many songs so I guess I would have been a little disappointed were it anyone else on that stage - but actually it's pretty impossible to be disappointed when it's Audra McDonald up there. I found her chats to Seth far more enjoyable than Patti LuPone's were when he hosted her concerts (and him less OTT in his fawning adoration). I hadn't heard her sing Summertime (or Moments in the Woods) so they were magic. The woman is a legend and can perform a song like few others. And even does an impression or two..

I think it's pretty impossible to be disappointed with her singing (though I wished the sound desk would turn her mic down a bit, she doesn't need it!), but I was slightly disappointed with the show overall. Yes, the anecdotes were at times pretty amusing and a lovely personal touch, but I didn't think the song selection was particularly inspired, despite not ever having seen her in concert before. Some great moments, but having seen Cynthia Erivo and Rachel Tucker in concert pretty recently, although I think Audra is the best vocalist of the three, I ended up enjoying the other two concerts more.
Having said that though, there were some lovely moments (I particularly appreciated getting to sing along with I Could Have Danced All Night), and seeing her sing Summertime live was just exceptional.

Well. Turn the mic down love. It isn't the O2.
Liked the show. Audra seems just lovely and she did a few good numbers.
But goodness me, Will Swenson is a fine piece of real estate. I'd like to own every acre.
His Pirate King number from The Pirates of Penzance was strangely the highlight of the whole show for me. I'll bet he was sensational in the proper production.
Actually, my favourite bit of the show was during You Don't Bring Me Flowers when Will was singing and Seth started singing Barbra's harmony part, making Will laugh.
Don't forget your plant!
