Entry Pass booking was very smooth this morning - with three browsers open, the best I got was around 300 in the queue. Got through in about 5 mins and had no problem finding the tickets I wanted. This was my biggest Entry Pass ticket haul to date - taking advantage of the fact that I’m moving to London! Well done, I regret not being a bit more 'on it' with Entry Pass when I was eligible for it. I used to find the random tickets they'd put up later in the run but never organised myself to get the whole season when they went on sale.

Have the National gotten rid of that handy feature where you can return tickets online? Or has their site just fallen over again?

Have the National gotten rid of that handy feature where you can return tickets online? Or has their site just fallen over again? It should be still there, it was there a few days ago. If you login and go to something like my events and then find the ticket you want to return you can then select next to it I think to return it rather than having to fill the form in from scratch. It says something like 'if within 7 day ring, otherwise use the form' then you should get an email in the next 24 hours ish confirming it and giving you the refund code.

Ah, apparently the My Events section vanishing is just a temporary bug affecting laptops and iPads. "Our developers are working to fix the issue and we apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Didn't know you could do this. Do you still have to return the physical ticket to them also ?

Yes I believe so, I usually don't collect my tickets now as if I wish to return it's much simpler to do so.

Tom Hiddleston was photographed outside the National with a script today. Being officially a Ho for Hiddleston, are there any NT shows in the works who haven't yet announced cast?

Some £15/18 stalls tickets available for later dates for I'm Not Running. Glad I waited and didn't shell out £60 (just snapped up two now).

There is a £18 ticket for War Horse on a date that is good for me. But it is Stalls B19 and the reviews of the seat just doesn't sound very good. I do have short legs so I've got that going for me.

I have £80 worth of NT credit vouchers burning a hole in my pocket. Anything coming up that you think might be worth a gamble? 'Tell-Tale Heart?'

I second TM’s post. I once sat in row B and it was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve had at the theatre. There’s no rake, the legroom is poor and you’re in close proximity to the audience members either side. Given the choice I now always select A for the same price, as two out of three problems are removed.

Well, the Crimp/Blanchett thing will be an event if nothing else. We don't have any other news of major new NT things in 2019 yet, or do we? I'm waiting for an Almeida announcement too as I'm coming up late October for a couple of days and have two spare afternoons.

I have to agree with the above but if all that is available are rows b, c or d and you can't afford more you just have to hope for no giant or even moderately tall people. I have row c seats and 2 are for kids so I have to hope for tiny people in front as it was that or not go. Fingers crossed.

Oh well, live and learn. I wonder if NT would let me turn ticket in to get better one?

Has anyone had any of the tickets from this booking period come through in the post yet, that is if you don't collect them at the box office. I know it might be a bit soon for some of them, but we've had a couple of tickets go missing recently and the National are normally quite quick at sending things out.

. I wonder if NT would let me turn ticket in to get better one? Yes, many people on here (myself included) do that. It's easier if you have the tickets on "will call" rather than mail, but it's simple to do. Thank you. I first emailed and they said no problem and to call them with payment info. Went ahead and changed to Tues Nov 13th matinee and splurged on Circle A9. I've never been to a play that uses the puppets and want to get full views of it

When it comes to collecting tickets are there separate box offices for the three venues within the National or is it all from a central collection point? I hardly ever go to the National before and I’ve had the tickets delivered so I really don’t have a clue where I’m going (equally I’ve only ever been to the Lyttelton before but have shows booked for the Olivier and Dorfman)
