Appears that work computer somehow blocked new ticket release from showing since I've just gone online at home and found tickets that def weren't showing for me, but clearly were for others, this morning. Darn it, should have just gone in a wee bit late instead.

A few events for Antony and Cleopatra are now online, so a bit more information: - Tim McMullan playing Enobarbus www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/tickets/12396- No dates yet, but the events seem to be going from late October to early January, so presumably that's the rough timescale for the play? |

There are always seats available when non-member booking opens, same at every other subsidised theatre too, I assume in cases like Donmar they deliberately hold some back. |

NT website says A&C starts in Sept at the Olivier. Since Hadestown starts 2 Nov then I'm afraid I have to give up hope that it will be playing when I arrive 27 Oct. Or am I reading this wrong?

There are A&C events as late as January 2019, so I doubt it will be closed before November: www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/tickets/12392I'm pretty sure last year there was some overlap of shows (Pinocchio and Network around Christmas I think), so presumably it's possible for shows to overlap on the same stage. |

They do run two shows in rep, but unfortunately there's no way of knowing just yet what sort of gap they might have between A&C and the opening of Hadestown. They shut Follies down for a week in advance of opening George And The Dragon, and there was a much longer quiet patch between Common closing and Follies starting (although that was August, August is a dead period for London theatre). Hadestown is a production that already exists, so although they may need to build the set anew to fit the Olivier, they may not need as much tech time because it's a matter of adapting what they have rather than starting from scratch. It's therefore not impossible that they might run A&C up to and including Saturday 27th? (Looking at the Hadestown schedule, they're fairly full on for the first few weeks so I wouldn't hold out any hope for November performances of A&C.) If I were you, I'd be prepared for A&C to not be on at all while you're here. That way you're either already on the path to sad acceptance when the schedule is confirmed, or pleasantly surprised if it turns out you do overlap. (Keep your end-of-October planning as clear as you can until the dates are confirmed, just in case.)

I get in that morning and, judging from how I did last time, I bought ticket to Macbeth that night. But I also got one for 9 Nov just in case I was too tired. As they were the £10 ticket I would gladly give the 27th ticket up for A&C. 28th is Sunday, 29th I have reservation for Ceremony of the Keys at ToL and then 30th is clear so far. Oh well, I won't count on it but will hold a tiny bit of hope that it will run the 27th and I can get ticket. |
