Yes that was a good one but I thought the Winters Tale in rep with it was better. The best Pericles I've seen was at Stratford East in 1983 - Gerard Murphy and Darlene Johnson, both now departed. Jesu the days that we have seen. Aye Master Shallow. Pity the Lear fan Martin1965 bailed out of the forum just before you arrived, you’d have got on well. Incidentally everyone, what happened to Honoured Guest, he has disappeared. Not that I’m complaining you understand.

Did I dream that they were doing Anthony and Cleopatra with Sophie Okonedo? And that it’s now missing from the line up? I was having the same thought?

Oh good, did think they must have earmarked Fiennes and Okonedo.

It was only after posting my previous comment that I realised my tickets were returns, and by then it was too late to edit my post

American Express advance booking started today. I kept checking for an announcement on the website (as recently as yesterday) and didn't see one but got an email this morning from American Express. Got two tix for Home I'm Darling which seems to be selling very well. Not much else seemed essential. Hadestown is in the Olivier, but didn't see any £15 tix so gave it a miss, for now at least.

Do they not tell people on purpose? Don't check my emails at dawn every day. Where would I be without the board?!

I sent the NT a message on Twitter a few days ago asking when the AmEx presale was, couldn’t find reference to it anywhere on the website.
Managed to get Home,I’m Darling this morning, looked at about 25 dates and there wasn’t much availability left for a lot of them!

JambOr - I did the same vis a vis Home, I'm Darling. I looked at a lot of dates and ended up spending more than I wanted on pretty bad seats. But I did really want to see it so - there you are.

All things considered, I wonder if Home I'm Darling is going to make a beeline to the West End once it's done at the Dorf. Guess we'll wait and see how well it goes down. I didn't see any seats I fancied in the Amex booking so I'll be throwing my hat in on Friday. May the odds be ever in our favour.

I ended up spending more than I'd planned too. I'm hoping to be able to get hold of a Friday rush ticket (hopefully they will be front row again, if the stage is similar height to The Great Wave the view will be fine for me) and return the expensive ticket I bought yesterday

Entry pass tickets went on sale this morning and for once I was quite successful in getting tickets for the performances I wanted. Managed to get tickets for Julie, Exit the King, Follies and Home, I’m Darling. Very happy to have got tickets for Julie and Home, I’m Darling, they are the two I wanted to see most. The only one I didn’t get that I’m considering is Hadestown, may try and get a cheapish ticket for that on Friday but I’m not majorly bothered if I don’t.

How? I was in within 8 mins and there weren't any of those? Wonder if somehow my browser hasn't updated,

I saw £15 tickets for Home I'm Darling but I've sat in them before and hated them, so I took a £26 seat on the side as the best of a bad bunch. The affordable seats I previously booked for John and Nine Night have leapt significantly in price! Anyway, it wasn't a perfect haul, but I basically got everything I wanted so I'll live.

How? I was in within 8 mins and there weren't any of those? Wonder if somehow my browser hasn't updated, I was in within 2 minutes but basically I checked the dates I wanted: even though in the first page appearing when you click 'Book tickets' (where there is all the list of dates with the availability) it says that there are tickets from £35 to £65 (just a random example), if you actually open the page for a date there are often cheaper tickets that you ca choose on the seat plan. So I never trust what the front page says.

Think I'm giving up, swear I've been through every date multiple times now but just suggesting any stalls cheap seats had gone before booking opened so glad some people got them. Will just have to keep an eye on site periodically.

I'd reluctantly booked a £29 seat right near the back of the circle for Hadestown because the front page said all of the non preview dates were £30+. I just went through and actually opened some of those dates and there were loads of £15 seats available! So I'm now in row C for later in the run for £15, and will return the other one 😀

If you're in the North-West and mobile (car), Home, I'm Darling starts life at Theatr Clwyd in late June. We booked some £10 front row seats so hoping the car makes it.
