Oh good a guessing game. I pick saturday 16th matinee then 3 shows the following week to ease her back in Disagree. If she is back for a matinee show and then doesn't do the evening there will be riots! Ease her back in with one show Monday and Tuesday.

Id not thought of that option

I really do think the deal will be she will be back... but Natasha will do matinees. It wouldn't surprise me at all.

That's why I think w/c 11th July will be when she returns. I think she'll return Monday but will do around 4 shows that week and then maybe go back to full schedule the following week. Wouldn't be surprised if she's in rehearsals now! Or would we of heard something?

I'm just watching some clips of her in Legally Blonde on YouTube now, she was amazing in that! Her comedic timing get and singing is stunning, I would pay so much to see her that again!

Could she return playing the role Natasha was originally playing? - Or has someone done that joke? By the way, I didn't see The C Word, but regarding the BAFTA win, Suranne Jones was very good in Mike Bartlett's Doctor Foster.

I have a couple of friends who have seen Natasha in two different performances, both adored her.
One friend, I saw her Wednesday, she had seen the show on Tuesday and she was still emotional about her performance. She also adores her voice and loved her comedy timing too.
The other booked knowing it would be Sheridan, but she isn't a great fan and has seen her sing and not enjoyed it. She adores Natasha now and couldn't believe how well she performed it.
Natasha is fast building up quite the fan base now. I can't wait to see where she goes from here.

I saw the show last night, having also seen Sheridan in it at the Menier, and thought the show had transferred well into its new space. Natasha absolutely nailed the vocals and gave a very convincing performance throughout - had I seen her first, I would have found it hard to believe anyone could play it better, her standing ovation (and it was very much HER standing ovation) was well deserved. But I didn't see her first, and for me, Sheridan does have the edge - not vocally, but emotionally, comedically (is that even a word?!), she has that extra 'something', although to be fair, some of that may be the difference between Menier front row and Savoy mid-Stalls.
Still, I'm very glad to have seen Natasha in the role and like emilyrose, I look forward to seeing lies ahead for her.

Do you think it's likely that, if Sheridan returns next week, they'll announce which day she'll return in advance or will she just turn up one night?

Assuming she doesn't spill the beans on twitter I imagine she will just turn up. If they say "Sheridan will be back on Wednesday" for example and then she has a panic and can't perform due to the media attention the production will look bad. It'll be a treat for the audience (apart from those who went specifically for Natasha. Hope there aren't boos for the lack of the understudy being on).

Yeah they probably wouldn't announce it, like you said, incase she pulls out last minute. Also if they announce it then the paparazzi will probably go to the theatre and that's not good for Sheridan. She hasn't been on Twitter since she left the show so I doubt she'll announce it in there. I'm hoping she comes back onto it!

I think you now, George22, pose a real security threat to her with your adoration/obsession! Oh And She's... Not... Coming.... Back...

The week beginning the 11th July, there will be pretty much no way of Sheridan getting back on stage without someone finding out. Whilst the company may not announce, the press and probably fans are going to be circling that stage door like hawks waiting for her to come back, the first sign it will be news. But I also assume the first show back, there will be no understudy sign in the morning when dayseats are released. At which point, I can only assume Sheridan will be back that performance.

George, you may want to take a chill pill. This is an online forum: people make sarcastic comments. You just need to get used to that and learn how to not react in such a way. That, and the constant posting about her return doesn't give us the best impression. We know how passionate you are but it does get a bit much sometimes and I mean that with great respect for your love of Sheridan

Yes, there's that, but by now we all know full well that George doesn't necessarily see when some comments are sarcastic/joking, and some posters should definitely know better and stop taking advantage by posting in such a way to provoke and create such a reaction. Two way street. Bit mean-spirited in my eyes, we have all been George's age (whatever it may be, but young), and I thought and hoped this board was nicer than that.
There's a difference between telling George how you feel about his postings, and provoking him for the fun of it. (Sorry to talk about you in front of you George, as it were).

It's so rude and upsetting to hear! I may seem loud on here but I'm not even loud in real life and I've never even met Sheridan before, so that can't make me a stalker. I'm only trying to be convivial! Chances are I'll be so quiet and shy if I meet her. I'm honestly not even loud
