How is Sheridan's track record with Legally Blonde? Or Flare Path?

She did the entire FP run with no time off, same at Hedda, Legally Blonde she had planned holidays and I think it was almost a week off when she did her back in. Midsummers she had a couple of nights off due to illness Stop mentioning the bar, you meanies! I should not have laughed at this as much as I did #SpeakNoEvilMonkeyEmoji hehehe

saw the show tonight, really like the changes and additions from the menier run, the backdrops are much better than having just the theatre auditorium one if you know what i mean, also loved the track 1-5 signs at the train station.
i do hope the cast recording preserves all the new extended dance sequences, entr'acte, reprises, bows, exit music, that band is glorious and is a real highlight of the show for me!
first time seeing Sheridan in the role, i saw it at the menier when she was off, what a role it is! certainly up there with mama rose in terms of difficulty and stamina, she did very well, her comedy was good but i think she shone in the emotional scenes, girl can cry on cue like no bodies business!

Saw Funny Girl last night, Sheridan was great. She gave it her all and, not knowing the story, I was in tears at the end. I've seen her before in Legally Blonde and A Midsummer Night's Dream and she is just so charismatic and watchable on stage.
I also think there is another show to be got out of just having Darius lean against walls wearing a tux. I'd go.

The man does wear a tux well. He does. It's just such a shame that along with his matinee-idol handsomeness and his really lovely voice that he's just so wooden. Like broom handle wooden.

Got day seats for the evening performance of this show and really enjoyed it. I didn't find the storyline that interesting, but the performances really made up for it. Sheridan gives an astounding performance and not one I will be forgetting anytime soon. Also thought Darius Campbell was really good and had a lovely voice. I would definitely recommend this to Sheridan fans.

Petition to put Darius in a series of shows where he wears a tux and leans and/or a kilt. For serious artistic purposes obviously.

I honestly don't understand the attraction with Darius. Thought he was rather 'wooden' in Funny Girl.

I honestly don't understand the attraction with Darius. Thought he was rather 'wooden' in Funny Girl. The attraction isn't directly related to his acting ability.

Indeed. I don't think, in fairness any of us mentioned him having to act in these potential productions. He may sing, as long as he wears (or doesn't wear) the appropriate attire.
Brings to mind a twitter conversation I had last night about Mr Julian Overden. Who, as the saying goes, once seen never forgotten. Now that had potential for some 'wooden' acting...

He's textbook tall, dark and handsome with a voice like the proper hot chocolate that I don't actually like that much 'cos I'm more of a sugar fan. Who CARES if he's not much of an actor?

Nearly poked my eye out when I saw him at the Donmar as I was sitting on the front row corner seat where he has to walk past.

Darius fans might be interested to know that he has a brother who (I swear) looks and sounds exactly like Darius.

I actually thought Darius was a great actor and very well casted. Him and Sheridan have great chemistry!

CAST. The correct word is CAST.
Sorry, not having a go at you - I see 'casted' all the time on the Internet now, and it drives me mad.
