I'm so excited to see this next Saturday! Seeing Patti live, I may die so if you don't hear from me after you know why. 😍😍 It’s like gay Christmas...second only to the Tony Awards!! Hope you love it and we’ll need a full report.

Question: Given the show is set in New York and they have that big wonderful 'COMPANY' Neon-esque logo pre-set.... Are they clever with it and do they set the scene by dimming out the letters to hint the setting when the show starts or have they missed a trick? COMPANYTrick missed.

Are they clever with it and do they set the scene by dimming out the letters to hint the setting when the show starts or have they missed a trick? COMPANYTrick missed. That's a pity as it would really work with the way the show starts!

So Marianne at the helm, Patti in the cast, great reviews from audience members thus far... this has spring/summer Broadway transfer written all over it right?!

According to Theatremonkey Dress Circle Box B offers 'adequate viewing angle with only a little of the stage obscure'. £19.50 sounds like a bargain Ive got a ticket so will give it a try. It does say on the website you have to 'lean forward' though

Anyone here got day seats for this? Which seats do they do/what time is it recommended to get there?

Does anyone know why the Dress Circle Boxes on the sides are £19.50 Went in late and they are trying to fill it. Usually second price. Potentially restricted view as well given the viewing angle and some of the set boxes...?

Really enjoyed this show this evening, yes my row b seat in Grand Curcle was a tad restricting but it’s amazing how one can adjust to a rail in the eyeline (it’s all these new shows keep announcing that means I can’t alwYs splash out but i’ll Go again on a rush ticket but it wasn’t too bad & I just missed bits on stage right!
I just knew a few of the songs so I can’t compare the role reversals but the story worked & I loved the inventive moving block set!
I thought Patti was just fabulous, I’m so pleased I’ve now been in the same theatre as her!
Agree that ‘I’m Not Getting Married’ was a big highlight along with all the Bobbi’s (I got ‘Groundhog Day’ vibes!!) and Richard’s body (oh and Jonathan’s infectious smile and eyes).

Saw this tonight on a £25 todaytix deal. G9 - dress circle. Great view. This is in great shape for a preview. Patti was fab - more measured than the NPH version. Rosalie was just great. Look forward to seeing it again when it’s a bit tighter. Also, post show drinks in Cafe Monico and I literally bumped into Jonathan Bailey. Best Monday in ages.

Indeed -Cafe Monico - oops ! I blame the bubbles. Rosies voice was fine but didn’t sound as if she was going full belt.

Well I also went Monday evening and thought it was wonderful. By far the best incarnation I have seen of the show. It managed to find the humour perfectly and the audience lapped it up. I think they are still working on some things especially the sound as everyone's voice seemed over compressed and not as dynamic as I know they are, but Im sure this is something they will fix.
Other than that I can see this doing so well and Olivier's going to the production, Marianne, Rosalie, Patti and Jonathan. I was even lucky enough to go backstage after the show and meet the cast who were all absolutely lovely to me and I ended up on the shows official social media feeds.. Definitely the best birthday I have ever had!!!

I saw it too and loved it. Rosalie Craig and Patti Lupone were both sensational. You Can Drive A Person Crazy was one of the highlights for me, great harmonies and very nicely staged. Fantastic set and lighting. Loved the Alice in Wonderland elements.

She's just too fabulous for words. The world will be a sadder place when she decides to retire for good. I'm willing to bet that she's the most terrifying person to meet but when you're friends with her, she's probably one of the best friends you'll ever have. I loved the description of her being like a tiptoeing elephant when she's trying to be careful what she says. Fabulous. Someone once described Patti as performing like she's got a cab waiting outside with the meter running which I think is absolutely perfect. J'adore La LuPone.

Well I've learnt the 'you snooze, you loose' lesson the hard way, literally. Noticed some bargain seats popup on DMT website last night (courtesy of dynamic pricing). Didn't bag a ticket but woke up a 6am kicking myself for not doing it. Got up and put a single seat in my basket but then realised I needed my card (upstairs) to complete the purchase, half asleep and tired decided to go back to bed for a couple of hours and complete the sale later. Got up and the seats gone now!

Just checked out of curiosity and for todays matinee dress circle row J there are some tickets now for £19.50, I sat there for £25 as that was my allocated dayseat and I can tell you that £19.50 is an absolute steal for those seats so if they turn up again do it! (Interestingly for the evening those same seats are £39.50 and later on in the weeks they go up to £79!!)
