Saw this last night and WOW! Totally loved it! Was particularly thrilled to see Patti LuPone, a performer I've wanted to see my entire life so can tick that off the bucket list - and hell did she deliver!

I mean, guys, this is the best show of the year isn't it. It's not a question, it's not an umming or ahhing situation, it is just fact. It's just sensational, and Jonathan Bailey is giving truly one of the great performances of the year.  Define "best" - taste is subjective. I might see it and hate it (probably not) but I don't want to pay £75+ for the privilege . |

People who really only like story driven, narrative shows are likely to be disappointed and underwhelmed by it.

I might go just to see Richard in his briefs lol ..... was outside today contemplating giving it a go I saw the old west end production years ago with Adrian lester and Sheila Gish ....I just didn’t get it and fell asleep !!! But reading comments above seems I’m not the only one after all I do recall loud belly laughs around me then my partner and I kept looking at each other thinking 🤔 what are we missing .... Honestly it's worth the money for Richard's body alone! True re the laughs - lots of amusing sections but not laugh out loud (for me). Call me cynical but I felt there was the usual audience element of "we've spent the money, we've heard it's the hit of the season, so we MUST laugh loudly to show how much we get it and what good fans we are." That said, it wasn't at all intrusive in fairness, and was nothing compared to the Wicked and Hamilton fan girl-ing. God the latter was so tedious. Loud hysterics before the lines had finished - seriously people, Hamilton is not a comedy! Anyway, I digress.... And I find with a lot of American humour, no matter how clever or witty, doesn't go beyond mildly amusing for me. I've been at many a show where I've smiled with mild amusement certainly , but couldn't muster an audible reaction where people around me were guffawing for all their worth. |

Bear in mind though, as has been mentioned here previously, whilst the premium seats are quite costly to some, tickets do start at £12.50. |

Bear in mind though, as has been mentioned here previously, whilst the premium seats are quite costly to some, tickets do start at £12.50. I agree. That's your issue. It is the best show of the year, for me and many people, no matter what price you pay. And I've sat in the £12.50 seats both times and it's an amazing view both times so go wild. |

I thought the show was much tighter on Friday than when I saw it during previews.
I still thought that the cast struggled a little with the complex opening number. It is musically complex and there is a lot going on. Apart from that it's slick as a slick thing.
A bit annoying how the audience laugh so much and misunderstand many of the lyrics. During Sorry Grateful they were howling over everything...still nice to see people respond to the piece. Although it's very funny at times I don't take Company as a comedy, more a 'comic nightmare'. Perhaps audiences read the marketing and go in ready to laugh at anything they can.
It reminds me of the entire audience clapping through the title song in Cabaret and missing the point.
Overall it's settled nicely into a 5* production.

I get the frustration at an 'over hyped' show (Hello Hamilton and Heathers) and that instinct to say 'well not for the money' BUT it is simply untrue to say there aren't affordable seats for Company. There's always been 12-25 seats available, and none of us are under the illusion it's utterly sold out (no matter what the NYT says)....so actually the genuinely curious but sceptical could take a punt without paying premium prices (just like I did with Heathers actually)

Are the cheap seats from going to the box office only? (not the Today Tix)

I can book a £14.75 grand circle slips seat for a matinee in a couple of weeks time directly from the website. There's not a lot of these cheapest seats available, but they are there for the purchase without you having to do anything different or special.

Yes, it takes a bit of effort as the cheap deals often do, but with a bit of scouting about there's decent cheap ones to be had. Plus if you can the lottery is worth a bash (obviously not for those who can't scoot into London at short notice) Also worth saying it's a smallish theatre and very few of the seats have what could be called a 'bad' view. Obviously the Monkey is the man to ask on that one. |

As long as it is not selling better than at the moment the dynamic pricing is going down at least two days in advance. If I had not been lucky with Rush Tickets on Saturday I would have got a really good seat for under 30 pounds on the same day without a problem.

Also remember that if the Dress Circle Box is still available for some performanc3es, the tickets are only £19.50. The view is a bit restricted though.

Also complicated in that Delfont Mackintosh are reluctant to sell seats that will leave a single, so you either have to get very lucky or be willing to buy both box tickets.

Regarding the single seat problem: there are sites which reserve even single seats for you if you select the ticket and put it into the shopping cart - you can then purchase the remaining seat off of any other site on which it is sold. If the prices are identical you, of course, don't need the second site.

I don't know if that would work for the cheap boxes though, where there are two seats to begin with so reserving one seat in another browser or asking a specialist website to do it for you would still leave a single seat (the one you wanted to buy) and thus not allow it.

Just managed to get a rush ticket for tonight using the recommended 'just keep hitting the button saying they're all selected for 10 minutes until a seat pops up' method. Got B9 dress circle - very happy with that.
