I think re tickets, everyone will be fine. We were told (repeatedly and definitively) on this forum that Next To Normal at the Donmar was gonna sell out in 5 mins, but tickets were available for weeks, maybe months. I don’t think it has whatever the theatre equivalent of “kerb appeal” is either.

This'll be easier to get tickets for than N2N, and that didnt sell out til they announced the full casting so everyone will be fine.

Is thus musical sung thru? I've just looked at the OBC recording and there are 27 songs which seems quite a lot.

I have a Donmar BF membership and booking opened this AM, I clicked through quite a few dates for this and there was already a lot of tickets sold for this, I would be quick when public booking opens, There were more seats for the Adrien Brody west end debut show which I was surprised about.

This will have seats held back as production holds, so there'll be more availability than you think/it looks.

Has anyone heard any casting details for this? Wondering if they have a "name" or two for the leads...

Can you let us know what the auditorium layout is? Is it the "usual" 3 sided banks of seats? Thanks.

Standard Layout Can't see how to add image on the board, Make sense that they would hold some seats back for general release

Not to already ask about a possible extension, but do Donmar shows have any history of extending? Might be coming in the literal week after.

I thought Maimuna Memon and Zubin Varla were excellent in Ghost Quartet at the (very short-lived) Boulevard. Would love to see them end up in another Malloy show, perhaps as Helene and Pierre.

Zubin Varla might be a bit too old for Pierre. I thought so but then I remembered they cast Mandy Patinkin in the role and he was was well into his 60. Although he is a Broadway star, sells tickets and it would have been his first musical on Broadway in almost 15 years, so there's a different narrative around that piece of casting. But yeah I think they'll go for someone younger
