The Bryan Cranston Platform at the NT on Wednesday. Ditto! Bit of a bugger I'm not seeing Network until the last night .. You don’t normally need to know anything about the production that the actors are talking about at this sort of thing - going by the queues to get in, I’m going to be waiting to get in longer than the interview will last...

Got to meet Bryan Cranston after (God help the people still on the end of the queue to get their book signed) - I don’t think our brief conversation will go down in history as an all time great, but compared to Steven Berkoff, he is charm personified.

Tonight I shall be at the Charing Cross Theatre to catch Sheila Hancock in 'Harold & Maude'. I shall wait by the stage door and ask Ms Hancock to sign my DVD of 'The Durrells'. I think she'll like that.

Today I shall be Needham to get the tube to Highbury and Islington to see the matinee of 'Summer and Smoke' at the Almeida.
Tonight I shall be slipping on my velvet cape to see 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' at the Menier. As they seem to have forgotten that it's a musical, I shall sing the songs for them at the right places. I think they'll appreciate that.

A busy week for me which had been planned for over a year. Last week I saw Hedwig and the Angry Inch in Johannesburg, very enjoyable.
I have Ruthless booked for Tuesday night, last minute ticket buying!
Seeing Hamilton on Thursday afternoon which has been booked since last January! It will be my dad and sisters first time and I'm so excited for them. We are in row C stalls. My 4th time and probably last for a while.
Saturday next week is a big family day out with tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Will be my third time, sisters second time, and mum and dads first time. We have seats F1-2 and E2-3 "restricted view" seats, though I tried them out last time when I was in A5 and was happy with the slight loss of view vs having to sit in the balcony. £160 for everyone for two parts is blooming great!
Got plenty of free "slots" which I haven't decided on yet. Mary Stuart is top of my hit-list. Maybe Julius Ceaser too.

Mary Stuart is top of my hit-list. Thankfully Elizabeth I once said *exactly* the same thing otherwise there would be no play for us to see. Enjoy!

Completely enchanted by Matthew Bourne's Cinderella at a sold-out Lowry yesterday evening and Emma Rice's The Little Match Girl (And Other Happier Tales) at a packed Liverpool Playhouse this afternoon.
In the coming week, I can't wait to see one of my favourite companies from the Edinburgh Fringe this Friday as Zoo Co (formerly Human Zoo Theatre Company) bring their 2016 hit Giant to St Mary's Creative Space in Chester.
