Beautiful at the Sunderland Empire theatre on Wednesday. My friend sold me her ticket half price because she has an audition for a musical theatre course.

On Thursday I shall be in Leeds, way out of my comfort zone, to watch the dancers of Northern Ballet taking class. What do you think of that tonyloco ? Then, via Thomas Chippendale at the City Museum, and maybe a swift half, I'm going to see This House at the West Yorkshire Municipal Swimming Pool (or Playhouse to give it it's official name). You know, for a northerner, I'm quite cultured, despite what anyone says.

Don't forget to take along your practice clothes in case you get invited to join the class! If only I'd planned ahead. I could have borrowed @caiaphas' spare dance belt!

It’s not a spare, it’s my only one, actually. And it’s not for hire. I’m finding your ablity to reall the minutiae of my ramblings on here slightly unsettling. I have visions of you sitting in a darkened room with my posts printed and pinned on boards like Paul Britton, the Jigsaw Man. ...Tall Paul... OMG!!!! You’re not him, are you???

Summer is here (please notify the weather Gods)
Much Ado About Nothing Globe Theatre
Playing Shakespeare productions, the perfect aperitif for the Summer Season with the advantage this year being one if not my favourite Shakespeare plays.
If nothing else, will counterbalance the 3 Macbeth’s I’m seeing in the next 7 Days. Beatrice and Benedick for ever.

Next weekend I'm seeing the thing I've been most excited about in YEARS. Lucy Worsley is talking about Jane Austen in Derby. I AM SO EXCITED.
