I loved the book, but it's incredibly sad and I'm not sure I could sit through it all without bawling my eyes out.

On Thursday I shall be heading to the Menier Chocolate Factory to see 'The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole'.
I was going to publish my diary once until I was threatened with legal action by 8 key members of the Cabinet and several members of the opposition. I can say no more.

I too am going to see The Kite Runner at Nottingham Playhouse, where it's flight began.
I suspect many stops on the tour are selling it as being direct from the West End. I'm not sure that will wash in Nottingham!

Starlight Express on Wednesday. I'm so intrigued by what they've done with it.
Fingers crossed it's not filled with fans who insist on screaming at every opportunity.

Unexpected trip to Starlight matinee on Saturday. Will likely pop over to an evening show, undecided what at the mo.

Will be in Stockholm for a week from Saturday and visiting a seminar about Swedish work and life ballance at the Goethe Institute Monday to Friday. No time for theatre during the working week but planning to see Richard III and The Lady from the Sea at the weekend. Both plays are in Swedish without subtitles and playing at the beautiful Dramaten theatre. And I might have the chance to catch an encore of the Hedda Gabler NT Live as well- they didn't show it in Germany.
