Rachel Tucker at the MAC in Belfast on Saturday...its a slow month for me, this is all I have booked until next month. Gurl, preach it! I only have The Color Purple booked this month. But I never book in advance but currently hafe at least one show booked every month between now and September. Six in total (I know, don't judge, I'm crap at booking in advance and most shows just fall into my lap!) but most are special events tor said shows: May 21 - The Color Purple (one night only) Jun 16 - The Wind In The Willows (first preview) Jul 08 - Kinky Boots (Matt's final performance) Jul 22 - Wicked (cast change) Aug ?? - Wonderland (not booked, but planned, to see Rachael in Richmond. May also do Milton Keynes the week before to see Kerry again!) Sep 02 - Half a Sixpence (closing night) Yeah, Im trying to save money after my many Wickeds between last September and January left me with a big dent in the bank account, so been trying to cut down on my theatre spending. But I basically have at least 1 show booked for every month up until November. Apart from Annie and Half A Sixpence in June with a few extra spots over that weekend for a couple of shows, I am pretty much entering London rehab and just sticking to touring shows in Belfast and Dublin. I will probably have gone insane by the end of August haha.

Rachel Tucker at the MAC in Belfast on Saturday...its a slow month for me, this is all I have booked until next month. I had really wanted to see her in Belfast, but I was home this weekend and not next So I'm seeing her in June in London though, so it's okay. There really isn't much on between Dublin and Belfast atm I don't know what I'm going to do when I'm back home for the summer SaveSave

It's finally Harry Potter week for me! Saturday marathon. Because I needed two all day plays this month.
I'm also seeing Professor Brian Cox this week...because a friend of a friend can't go and well I like some Cox sometimes. (yes it's a chance to make equally mature jokes all week)
If I manage it amid deadlines I'm downing in I'm going to 'Golf Course War Machine' at RWCMD, a friend wrote it and the director is directing a play of mine so I'm hoping to get to support them.

Thanks for reminding me about that! It's performed by Melanie Stevens who was deliciously intimidating, from the audience participation point of view, in The Memo for Big Loop last year and who I remember as a lively Autolycus in The Winter's Tale (which had Edward Bluemel as Leontes) at RWCMD.

Mel is fab! and this one has a few bits of audience interaction (I saw it previously at AJ's Coffee shop in November) it's an interesting piece in general so worth catching if you can! ETA: my review of it was here thenerdytheatre.blogspot.co.uk/2016/11/golf-course-war-machine-no-boundries.html

Emi, you've pushed me over the edge. I do now plan to see it, hopefully this week, and will read your review afterwards!

Just one this week. Forty Years On in Chichester. I hope it is worth the long journey there and back but I am not expecting too much after having read about it on here.

I wouldn't have minded seeing this but I've booked to see Julius Caesar at The Crucible on the same night.

Tomorrow I shall be seeing 'Salome'. I've had pneumonia recently so I could do with a giggle. I've thrown a couple of veils in my bag just in case there is some audience participation.
